  1. Sounds just like our forecast. I think the rain starts tomorrow. I just hope we don't turn into a wintry mix. Ice is the worst!
  2. Love love love all your Grandbabies. Beautiful Christmas card with all the big smiles and the flowers in background. Kenzie is too cute❤
  3. Happy to hear everything went well with your move and the kitties move. Have a blast unpacking and the kitties helping by checking out every box😃
  4. I recorded last nights episode and have not yet watched but did see it was Capt Sandy as replacement. i don't think Chef Rachel has ever worked with Capt Sandy. Will be interesting to see if they get along as well as she does with Cpt Lee
  5. I personally love the ABC's. What does your family like to do? What time of year are you looking to book? If going in the winter months, it would be better to go to the ABC's for warmer weather and warmer water temps. Many beautiful beaches at the ABC's and lots of good snorkeling at Bonaire and Curacao. Perfect Day at CocoCay could be very expensive if your children want to do the water park, which they most likely will want to as soon as they see it.
  6. Busy busy around our house. I had a great time at our christmas office party Friday. Food was delicious. Saturday I spent Christmas shopping at Macy's, Kohls and Ross as well as food shopping. Finished up online shopping this afternoon. This morning we picked up our Christmas tree. While Eric set up the tree and put the lights on I baked some tollhouse and peanut butter cookies...more to do this week...rum balls, fudge, oatmeal raisin (Sorry for those that hate raisins) Brought out tree decorations, did weekly laundry and made a big batch of stuffed peppers. Kitchen looked like a storm hit it, but all cleaned. Finally, sitting down and enjoying all the Beautiful photos everyone posted this weekend.
  7. Carry on...check in around 1 pm then drop off everything in your cabin as they are usually available around 1ish. Then you don't have to carry heavy items around for a couple of hours.
  8. It has been an ugly day here. Started with some snow, then sleet, then non-stop rain all day and more tomorrow. Yuck! Tonight Eric and I went to his Mother's house. While Eric worked on finding paperwork. Hidden in many places of the house I worked on her bedroom bureaus and closets. When we downsized her to this house in 2015 I tried to get her to get rid of clothing, etc that she no longer used buy she didn't. Now we have the job. I have lost count of how many trash bags I filled up with old sheets, towels and clothes so far. I am picking out items in good condition to donate. I am going to take some of the towels, blankets, etc to a local pet shelter that use for rescue animals. Tomorrow we have our Christmas luncheon at Pinevill Tavern from 12 to 4 pm. Everyone is looking forward to it. Should be lots of fun!
  9. I hope your Son, Mark, is having a wonderful birthday! Does the stove have a lock setting? Some have a lock as a parental control feature but also helpful for pets too
  10. @Lionesss. HAPPY BIRTHDAY💐 I hope you have a Wonderful day!😍 You share your special day with our new DIL Donna.
  11. I do not know of any testing requirements on Royal's website for a panama canal cruise, the only one I see that may apply is if you have a port stop in Colombia. Not every ship requires for you to book shows in advance. We were on Anthem last week and did not have to pre-book anything.....just go with the flow. Really it is no big deal to select a check in time. No need to scramble to do online check in unless you absolutely must be one of the early boards. Even then very few ports are adhering to check in times at this time. Just pick your preferred time when you want to arrive at the ship. If you are a little early or a little later than your selected time, no biggy. No requirement to wear a mask as a passenger or a crew member. Of course, we saw some people wearing them but very few, it was their preference. I do not know anyone that likes that dis-embarkment day. We try to make as relaxing as possible and get up around 6 / 6:30 am - go to breakfast at either MDR or WJ then go back to our cabin and grab our personal belongings and either leave the ship or wait until our luggage tags our called (which again you can pick your preferred time to leave the ship but all must be off by 9 or 930 am at latest). Don't give up, I hope you board the sailing you want to do sometime in the near future. It is still a very relaxing, enjoyable adventure.😍
  12. Here is link to the covid refund policy that went into effect on August 8, 2022 (per Royal's website). https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/pdf/covid-19-cancellations-and-refunds-policy.pdf as well as this in their FAQ section of their website: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/if-i-test-positive-for-sars-cov-2-what-is-your-refund-policy-and-costs-covered No where does it say 50% FCC. I would have make another call to Royal and if they still say 50% direct them to Royal's website that clearly states their policy.
