We have been fortunate, over our cruising history, we have received a senior, a Police, and a state (PA) discount. (not on the same cruise)

We have a friend who is a Service Manager at a local Ford dealer, the surveys that the customer fills out are reviewed each quarter, less then tens result in a lesser or no bonus for that quarter.
So many Companies have the same policy as RCL..

The only thing consistent with the web site, is there is no consistency.
I have always booked direct with rci, and never been re-priced, (yet).

Sailing on the Oasis in December, ready to try something different.
-
I just tried to book dining for our Oasis, 12/13/14, sailing
and still shows not available yet.

I would never do inside, but that's me.

You have basically answered your own question, "It's for the kids".

I'm pretty sure that the crew has a standing game going on about who can get the passengers to believe the best rumor and post it on cruise critic. I think they get points for every rumor mentioned online, plus points for creativity.
In each rumor there is always some truth, the question is, just how much is truth, and how much is fiction?.

Okinawa port
in Asia
From the port to the Aquarium is approx a 90 minute trip, each way, I haven't been to Okinawa, in a long time but traffic can be an issue.

We have travelled several times out of San Juan, our lack of spanish has never
been an issue.

Another vote for Romeinlimo, we used them on our Med cruise, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again

My stepson, wears the pump he has never taken it off to go through security.
At the airport tsa is told he is wearing the pump, they look at it but it's never been disconnected, they just need to know a medical device is being worn.
At the port it has never been detected, the security level is not at tsa level.

If they are allowing this, it is very new. This was the only disadvantage to booking anyway other than on line for years.
I booked all shows on an upcoming cruise and was shown a screen telling me that if I got this screen they are having issues and to try again later. There was never a confirmation screen. Minutes later I received an email confirmation. They do have IT issues so consider yourself lucky.
I know of no one who has been able to pay for a cruise on line without booking it on line for years.
Of course you appear to be i Canada, so maybe the rules are different there.
Gina
My last eight cruises have all been booked over the phone, along with the two upcoming cruises, once I receive the email confirmation I go online to my cruises, and take ownership of the reservation, I am then able to pay online, I have never had a problem doing it this way.

In 2005, on the Enchantment, we first experienced Chops the total cost for two was $40,
The experience then was exactly like a fine steak house on land.
Now in 2014, the cost for two is $70. Or it could be $106, if you want the better quality steak, this past December, our experience in Chops was closer to Outback or one of the other chains, and will more then likely be our last visit to Chops.

You should be fine, do you realize that there is currently no longer any major delays in renewing passports, most are reporting between 2 and 3 weeks wait time for renewal.

Things like that were easier before the software changes this past October.
Bob, the cruise I was refering to was Jan. 2014, long after the software changes, so it is still possible.
My wife planned a surprise cruise last January with our children and grandchildren, she worked with royal and had me listed as (TBA) to be announced..... after the surprise was announced she called royal and they added my name

Hello all,
We are thinking of buying some RC Stocks to access some OBC. Hope someone can help answer these questions:
--How many shares, minimum, do we need to purchase?
--Once that's done, how do we send the info. in when booking a cruise?
--Is this OBC combinable with other offers, such as the Open Booking credit or other offers?
Thanks for your help, Cheers, Annabelle
The current price of the stock is $55.27 a share, you will need a minimum of 100 shares ($5,527.00), to be eligible for shareholder OBC.
The shareholders credit is not combinable.
The instructions on how to redeem is on the RCL web site.
Good luck with you decision.

Glad your DD is doing fine, I took this post as praise for
the medical staff, and that you were letting other parents
know of the lesson learned, thanks for posting.

We have never used a TA, always found it easy to handle the booking ourselves.

You should also make photo copies of the letter, and any other documentation you have, this way you can keep the originals and give royal the copies if requested.

Yes, should not be a problem, they are only 30 miles apart.
I would look into one of the car services, rather then a taxi.

Can anyone give me the rundown on this room. I see the basics on the website...724 sq ft with a 376 sq ft balcony....
Is the bedroom upstairs able to be walled off with a curtain? Is there a balcony upstairs as well?
Any and all info and especially pics would be appreciated. We are going on the Dec 13 cruise with our adult boys and at the moment we have an OS and a Balcony reserved but the balcony is obviously not a suite and we are interested in keeping everyone in the same category so we can all get the same benefits.
On a side note....I really wish Royal would do something with their website (in case you are reading). I already said this on my survey (just got off Rhapsody 20 June) and on a comment card. People want to know what they are booking, especially for what some of these suites cost, and its almost impossible to get good detailed info about the staterooms on their website. I wont even get into the disaster that is the cruise planner.
Thanks all.
The upstairs has a curtain, no balcony that's on the lower level, each level has a full bathroom, if you go to YouTube and type in crown loft suite there is several videos.

You know the one time you don't have your ID, will be the time they ask for it.
