  1. We have a friend who is a Service Manager at a local Ford dealer, the surveys that the customer fills out are reviewed each quarter, less then tens result in a lesser or no bonus for that quarter.

So many Companies have the same policy as RCL..

  2. My stepson, wears the pump he has never taken it off to go through security.

At the airport tsa is told he is wearing the pump, they look at it but it's never been disconnected, they just need to know a medical device is being worn.

At the port it has never been detected, the security level is not at tsa level.

  3. If they are allowing this, it is very new. This was the only disadvantage to booking anyway other than on line for years.

I booked all shows on an upcoming cruise and was shown a screen telling me that if I got this screen they are having issues and to try again later. There was never a confirmation screen. Minutes later I received an email confirmation. They do have IT issues so consider yourself lucky.

I know of no one who has been able to pay for a cruise on line without booking it on line for years.

Of course you appear to be i Canada, so maybe the rules are different there.

My last eight cruises have all been booked over the phone, along with the two upcoming cruises, once I receive the email confirmation I go online to my cruises, and take ownership of the reservation, I am then able to pay online, I have never had a problem doing it this way.

  4. In 2005, on the Enchantment, we first experienced Chops the total cost for two was $40,

The experience then was exactly like a fine steak house on land.

Now in 2014, the cost for two is $70. Or it could be $106, if you want the better quality steak, this past December, our experience in Chops was closer to Outback or one of the other chains, and will more then likely be our last visit to Chops.

  5. Things like that were easier before the software changes this past October.

Bob, the cruise I was refering to was Jan. 2014, long after the software changes, so it is still possible.

  6. Hello all,

We are thinking of buying some RC Stocks to access some OBC. Hope someone can help answer these questions:

--How many shares, minimum, do we need to purchase?

--Once that's done, how do we send the info. in when booking a cruise?

--Is this OBC combinable with other offers, such as the Open Booking credit or other offers?

Thanks for your help, Cheers, Annabelle

The current price of the stock is $55.27 a share, you will need a minimum of 100 shares ($5,527.00), to be eligible for shareholder OBC.

The shareholders credit is not combinable.

The instructions on how to redeem is on the RCL web site.

    Good luck with you decision.

  7. Can anyone give me the rundown on this room. I see the basics on the website...724 sq ft with a 376 sq ft balcony....

Is the bedroom upstairs able to be walled off with a curtain? Is there a balcony upstairs as well?

Any and all info and especially pics would be appreciated. We are going on the Dec 13 cruise with our adult boys and at the moment we have an OS and a Balcony reserved but the balcony is obviously not a suite and we are interested in keeping everyone in the same category so we can all get the same benefits.

On a side note....I really wish Royal would do something with their website (in case you are reading). I already said this on my survey (just got off Rhapsody 20 June) and on a comment card. People want to know what they are booking, especially for what some of these suites cost, and its almost impossible to get good detailed info about the staterooms on their website. I wont even get into the disaster that is the cruise planner.

    Thanks all.

The upstairs has a curtain, no balcony that's on the lower level, each level has a full bathroom, if you go to YouTube and type in crown loft suite there is several videos.
