I hope so, for many reasons, finding a test in small communities to meet NCLs timeline can be a challenge. Just hope this pans out right, wish NCL reps could give consistent answers,

Hoping someone after March 1, replies if in fact, NCL does testing at the Pier, not free I know, but my time online with NCL chat says no, you have to arrive with test results. so hope someone will start a new thread after March 1

Off the Bliss, January, Haven bkfst buffet in Lounge was plentiful, not positive about lox and bagels, and yes the Haven restaurant had them, very nice spread

BirdTravels: how long ago was that on NCL site. I have asked online chat and don't get same response. Only you have to provide. am hoping your info is what NCL is providing

True Story. On our Bliss sailing Jan 9th to 16th. On day two the third Bingo game winner was a move to the Haven. We saw about 5:30pm, the lucky couple moving into the Haven. We were sitting in the bar area and could see them at the Concierge desk, getting checked in. Times have changed! but don't think this will happen often in the future, but it sure did.

Good question. Wish I could remember if vouchers have names on them, if not, it would possibly be no problem. Good luck

Off the Bliss Jan 16th, walked off about 9am with our luggage, since the ship was at limited capacity, no problem getting off when you wanted, before 930 am

I believe so, call and talk to a representative, sate what you want included or not

Yes from the menu, on the sundeck or on the other levels. We called pre concierge and asked for foam pillows, upon arrival we had them.

Support Services 866-625-1160 can fix the issue if above doesn't work

In my experience the price they quote you is per person, not room

Sailed in the Haven on the Bliss, January 9th, received our luggage tags about 10 days before cruise. WE walked our luggage onboard!! Day 2 of cruise, the letter came to our room, looking for someone's missing luggage, 2 bags full. this is the third cruise we have been on that we got the "letter" looking for undelivered luggage.

Does anyone know if all this new cancel policy has anything to do with testing positive, covid, within 14 days or 48 hours before arriving at the Pier???? Is it still at least an FCC?
-
From what I read after March 1, 2022, NCL will not be providing testing at Piers. Before it said at your own cost, but think we are on our own now. NCL has a lot about home proctoring tests that they suggest. I'm not just up to that, so will be waiting for another change of rules. urggh

The famous back elevator, (aka freight or garbage elevator, back in the old days) was available for Haven guests going onshore also, and disembarking final day.

Think the OP is referring to shows in the Comedy Club, etc. not the main theatre. We were on the Bliss Jan 9-16th, were told they would take us to the Main theater 30 minutes prior if we wanted. We only went to one Show in the Main showroom, there was Haven seating roped off, and probably only 60 people attending the Comedy Show presented that night. The other entertainment venues, the smaller ones have never in our experience had a Haven escort. Only able to expedite seating with your Haven Card.

You should be able to get cash back for 1/22 cruise, since they canceled. understand if you don't want to go on second leg, but if you booked it all under one reservation number, you should be entitled to full cash refund. Dont give up.

Great!!! Enjoy! Post if you can

Is the next cruise headed for Miami via Panama Canal still a go? Any news Julie3Fan onboard? Will add that disembarking on Jan 16th, was super fast, we carried off our luggage, although we had passports in hand, never showed them, it was the facial recognition scan, took 10 seconds and then exited. Took a cab to LAX, did not notice the cab driver was not masked up util about 10 minutes into drive, urggh, not happy about that, but wasn't about to be asked to be dropped off on freeway! all still good with us

Well a 100 years ago or so, when we cruised without passports, used birth certificate, first name, middle name and date of birth matched my drivers license, (different last name) and had no problem. But, that was back in the good ole days.

Lots of available seating at all times

It was the Mexican Riviera Cruise leaving from San Pedro, CA on January 9th. Had flight cancels getting there but got there. Left Hotel, Doubletree in San Pedro at 10am , we were in our room, in the Haven, about 1130am. Shuttle from Hotel dropped us off at testing site, Pier 91 I think? Our testing had no wait, just walked through, of course stopping to check in, getting tested and results. Shuttle van from there to Pier check in, we kept our luggage with us, no problem. Got to the white tent for going through security, no line, then onto checking in, no line. Heard rumors between 1300 to 1600 passengers? Ship very very uncrowded, . Captain only spoke via intercom twice during the cruise giving weather report. Use to an interacting Captain each morning , but not this time. Only Production show was Jersey Boys. Did see Levity Comedy in the theatre, only think 50 people attended. The bands in the Atrium were good. Most meals in the Haven, did eat at Cagneys and Italian Restaurant. We enjoyed our meals,. The Bars; had few people the times we were there: Maltings, Sugarcane, and the Mixx Bar, (our out of Haven favorite,). Stopped in all scheduled Ports. Weather was cool until we got to Cabo, warmed up for Puerto Vallarta and Matzalan, last stop Ensenada, probably about 65 degrees. We did not do excursions, but heard others talking about their fun times off Ship. We did get off on our own in a couple Ports. Had the Observation Lounge mostly to ourselves with a beautiful view daily! Mask requirement was pretty much adhered to. Staff definitely. Did not hear about any passengers getting sick or isolated. Did over hear the Captain giving a briefing to the Staff, (I was eaves dropping at the right place) that 95 crew were isolated. We were on the fence about going, we did, cruise was nothing like before Covid, but it was great being pampered. Have no symptoms, feel fine, hopefully will stay so.

Haven Question

Have no idea was Haven Suite category you are in. But the Haven suites H6, in the Haven proper, now have the mini fridges empty, no more mini bottles of liquor for purchase. You can request like we did juices to be stored there. this was on our Bliss Cruise January 2022. If you have the "drink" pkg, you can bring back to your room any and all drinks you want. " Champagne" was in our room on arrival, iced, we never did drink it. Between being in the Haven or because we are platinum Plus, there was 6 cardboard containers of water about quart size waiting in our room. Plenty of room in mini fridge to cool them.
