I think you will not be successful.  Since Splendor does  not offer the option to add an extra person to a cabin, they will not have rollaway or trundle beds.  The 1A cabins that are forward have a couch instead of an upper.  Only the midship cabins around the stairs/elevators have an upper.  EM

Thanks, on both Carnival Glory and Paradise, they provided a trundle bed for my daughter, the 3rd person in the room

The room you booked for your daughter to be in there could be booked for 3 guests. The room you are talking about for upper/ Lower only 2 can be booked into. So even if they had a trundle, it would not be added bc it would make the 3rd bed in a 2 person cabin.

If you prefer bottled water, that is your opinion, and that is fine. I'm not sure anyone buys that you "swell up with ship water".

You have NO right to say what health issues I have with ship water. Maybe one day you will have the Pleasure of having your ankles swell to where you can 't walk....then come back and be snarky. I am not selling so you don't have to buy.

We've booked a cruise for 2021,and have not been on this ship or been to this port. Biggest question is how is the food? Any tips?Thank you for your advice.

Which sailing are you on? We are booked on the Norway portion. As to the food...I find the food to be the same on each ship...pretty much! If you mean England..We will find out at the same time!

  4. This menu looks decent enough...but what is not decent is you don't get wines paired to the food you are eating, but rather white or red. Carnival does not do a Chef's table how it should be done. I would not recommend it for this reason.

    Hi,

My group and I are looking into doing the Carnival excursion for Aruba "De Palm Island & Snorkel Day Pass."

I am getting mixed answers on if alcoholic drinks are included in the price of this excursion. Some say it is all inclusive and that drinks ARE included, others say only food and non-alcoholic are included, and that alcoholic drinks are extra. I wanted to reach out on here to ask before contacting Carnival directly, as it can take quite a bit of time to receive a response from them.

So, my question is: If you have done this excursion through Carnival, are alcoholic drinks included? Did you enjoy the excursion? What are the pros & cons?

We have done this excursion through Carnival, albeit a few years ago. We did get alcoholic drinks included.

Can you leave your luggage in the hallway outside your room before they are available?

I mean, they leave them in the hallway anyway when they deliver checked bags.

No, because the fire doors leading to the rooms are closed. They don't allow you to enter them unless, you are  FTTF, Diamond, Platinum, Wedding party or suite.

Yes we did! There was Happy Hour on port days. It wasn’t always in the Fun Times. We cruised 2 times on the Miracle out of Tampa. The Legend is a spirit class which we like very much. We had some rough seas. Overall we had a great time. We went to the Steakhouse and it was excellent.  We had one complaint which I will put on my survey. The beef in the main dining room was awful. It alternated between being chewy and dry. We even watched other tables trying to saw through the meat. Everything else on the menu was good. Towards the end of the cruise we just stopped ordering the beef. I’m hoping that this isn’t the new norm - maybe it just was a bad batch of beef. This is the first time we ever had a complaint about food. We are sailing the Legend on November 29th.

Thanks for the update on the Legend. We sail her in June in Europe. I have never had good beef on any Carnival ship, except in the Steakhouse.

I agree with the rough waters. We were on Rhapsody of the Seas and have pics of the Legend in Roatan.

As of right now we are flying in the day before, but I could still change it due to the type of fare I got.  There is a flight that arrives at 11:40 am on the day of the cruise that conceivably I could change it to.  the advantage is it's one more day for my husband to work and it's one less day of childcare I have to worry about.  The disadvantage is the stress of trying to get port quickly.

If I keep the day before flight, my plan was to rent a car and stay overnight at a bed-and-breakfast at Leeds Castle. Check out is usually at 10 am so that's enough time to even take in another attraction like Dover Castle before the ship starts embarkation.

Per Carnival email, they are saying embarkation will be 2 pm to 4 pm.

We are on this sailing. I have not gotten an email from Carnival regarding the times, but my PVP did say we would not board until afternoon on this sailing. We will be arriving at LHR on 6/17.

Sea day brunch is in the MDR on Sea days. Regular breakfast is only Port days in the MDR.
