My WC number ends in a letter. Spouses does not have a letter. Both of us are first time cruisers on Cunard. We have cruised many times but this upcoming back to back is the first time on Cunard. I thought it was weird that my number had a letter and hubby’s doesn’t.

I can confirm there was a taxi stand at the bus terminal in Southampton. We walked to our hotel so I can’t confirm pricing. Bus was easy and convenient. We had pre bought our bus ticket and it was a nice ride to Southampton.

@Host Hattie thank you for your review of Queen Anne. Also thank you for posting Sir Samuel’s lunch menu. We have it booked for H426. And had not seen the menu.

Norway and Arctic circle. Hoping for northern lights.

I just printed out our boarding passes and our luggage tags 11 October H425! We are doing H426 as well.

We are on that cruise too!

We are sailing in 4.5 weeks on Queen Anne. We just got our flu shot and covid shot to try to be proactive. We will enjoy our trip. I am a retired RN and worked in a hospital during Covid. I had Covid once while on a cruise ship. No symptoms. I tested to fly back to US. Positive. Bought me 10 days in the hotel room on isolation. So I was in London and hubby was in US. ( this cruise we both get to see London! And fly together! )

If I moved the markers lower all returned to the middle or further toward highest. I thought it meant that the bidding was at least that much.

When I got the upgrade email the markers were set at what had been bid already. I bid at the top. But as I said, I am perfectly happy with our cabin that we currently hold.

Well never mind, it is back to the original cabin. Must have been a Cunard glitch.

I put in a bid to move up to Princess Grill. Today I was looking at something else in my reservation and noticed that my original cabin number was gone and replaced with the following : your cabin will be allocated closer to sailing. Does this mean I was successful in bidding?

@NE JohnHappy 60th birthday! My 61st is tomorrow 6/16 but I don’t get to sail until October. adding to stay on topic, I will take what ever table I am assigned.

@abdullahhoneymoon I have not been Queen Anne yet. But I have read from others that have been on her that she does have metal walls. The suggestion of putting things on the Balcony to dry…. I should warn you that it is not allowed but folks still do it. I have flown multiple times with the magnetic hooks. Never had any issues with them being in my back pack. I fly from the US.

I just checked to see what I was charged last night for Tramonto pre booked. It was $18.00 per person. And Sir Samuel's lunch was 31.50 per person.

I havre seen the coffee packets in photos of regular rooms to use with the electric kettle. I believe the club balconies, PG, and QG have coffee machines. I am planning to take Folgers coffee bags to use in my cabin.

I can not wait for our turn. I plan on doing 2 live reviews as we are on H425 and H426.

I can’t remember if this is your first cruise or not. But do remember the entire ship is on camera except for inside the staterooms. This means private balcony or not, you may be on camera. ( they have to be this way so footage can be had if a person were to go overboard)

The first problem with this is the homemade vino. The second problem spaghetti and gravy? Ok all kidding aside…. At home I have drank wine out of a coffee cup. But onboard a 🚢 not a 🛳️, I want my drinks in a proper glass.
