Good morning everyone from Tokyo which is our last day before boarding queen Elizabeth in a few hours, we have walked our socks off 12 hours yesterday since we only had 1 full day , flights were excellent and the meals good . Just a few pics , underground was a little overwhelming for us but we got to our destinations in the end .

I have given up and got up for a cup of tea and to watch the news , I hope you ge5 to sleep soon after your hot toddy 😁 I love Roy Orbison and In Dreams he was my mum’s favourite and she always played his music at the weekends so it all rubbed of on me and now my daughters like his music too as I subjected them to listening to several hours of him while driving back from Germany every few months 😂

Well I’m awake now the foxes outside are yapping and woke me up and the birds are starting to sing , hopefully I’ll nod back off before the 6 o’clock alarm goes off but I’ve been awake a hour now and don’t think it’s going to happen.

😱😱😱😱. I really feel for you Michelle and a newly laid floor, I would of cried, but if I watched it on YouTube mishaps I would of laughed my head off , I hope he gets it all cleaned up back to new .

Josy I’m sorry it’s come to this and I’m hopeful you will find a much more lovely private place for you both , as others have said it might not come to fruition but why worry now and stress yourself out if you are both prepared to move now then the time is right . We haven’t been given stickers for years but when in Rome last year I noticed lots of people wearing them and just as much stuck on the floor trodden in looking a mess .

Good morning all, it’s bright and sunny here and I hope you all had a great weekend, well today is my last day before flying tomorrow to Tokyo to meet the Queen Elizabeth ship for our 2 week cruise, it will be our first time on Cunard and our first fly cruise but as yet we can not check in but check-in is open on the app it says so a little concerned there, I will try and post some pictures while I’m a way of nature only using the free internet while on land . Megabear I hope you have a lovely cruise on Cunard too later this week. Anyone else going on holiday soon i hope you all have a great holiday and everyone else staying home I hope the weather will be warm and sunny for you all. So all my work is done, cases packed, beauty regime done , Andys hair has been scalped to the bear skin 😡 new hair dresser, off out to dinner tonight to our favourite restaurant so a chill out day apart from checking in .

What I like to do is once on the ship , muster station first , drop of stuff in cabin, check my dinner table number and go to investigate it if it’s appropriate for me , making sure it’s only a 2 top or 4 at a push, then unpack and get ready for dinner early and go to the crows nest and watch the sail away with cocktails and then go to late dinner and late show, no need to investigate the whole ship that first day , I try to make my boarding as calm as possible but never achieve this , I’m a planner and like things orderly so things have to be sorted out straight away or I get restless, I hate it when the luggage arrives late around 6 last time, mucked up all my plans 😂😂

One of my favourite walks and a few years ago I used to run up that hill , have a quick swim the other side and run back the tree lined path . Looks like Freddie is enjoying it 🌞

I’m here Graham still for a few days , just of to solicitors to sign our new will after the draft was finished then a coffee and cake in town to pass some time then off to get my nails done as I’m hopeless at painting them myself. Its dry and a little cloudy and temp 13 with a chance of some rain today, hope not because I’m on the bus today as my daughter is using our car while hers is in for repairs, both daughters and family are off to the Swiss alps next week.

Been very busy this weekend, I’m all packed for my very first fly cruise, luggage labels attached, travel folder in correct order of hotel stays and car pickups, all travel money sorted , at the moment Tokyo’s temperature for next week is in mid 25 and Alaska down to 5 with high as 12 , so packing has been a bit of a pickle with all sorts of clothes and struggling with the weight of the cases 25 kg going out but 23 coming back !! Obviously I’ll have to sell some of my clothes while I’m there 😂 . So this weeks the normal housework and hair and nails time and the weekend free to relax, only one bad thing I’ve done is I have already pack my husband’s evening jackets so he’s going to have to do some ironing when he unpacks them 🥴 . That happened to me while I was away and I’m still getting some now on my iPad.

We half stayed up last night watching the EV and finished watching it this morning and I really don’t understand why most of these acts they wear hardly any clothes and it’s turning into a sexual show with all their moves , call me old fashioned but why do we have to see men’s buttocks bending over and thrusting all over the place and as for the uk one ! No wonder it got 0 public points , my favourite was France , but I suppose we all got our views 🤔

Poor freddie and poor you because it’s you that has to deal with those sad puppy dog eyes I want my favourite food, hope he gets better soon 🐶

Hello all it’s another lovely sunny day here today, hope you are all well and will have a good weekend. I have a question for our cunarders on here , does Cunard have an app they use on board ? Like ordering drinks and booking restaurants etc , I can’t seem to find one on my phone App Store , I know I could ask this on the Cunard board but I don’t want to start a new thread, thought I’d ask among friends 😊

I’ve just booked this morning with that in mind but was told if I pay it all off today I get a further £250 off plus my cruise miles off and the on board spend was 550$ on a 16 night Iceland/Greenland cruise and I wangled 6 bottles of wine out of them 😁 , I know it’s a risk paying it off in advance but insurance will cover if need be due to illness.

No simulators for us but I did drive a F2 car around the track and quite a few years ago I done some rally driving, ended up being a driving instructor so it’s probably me more than him that loves driving and driving fast 😁

Im afraid yes I do watch it with him and enjoy the starts , been to silverstone too and been to Monaco Grand Prix and that was a fantastic experience which he would like to do again.
