  1. Interesting that their country list does not include any of the Caribbean island countries. Should I assume that if a particular country (ie: DR/Haiti, BVI, etc) is not listed, there are no covid restrictions? Or do I have to check out each island's official page?
  2. Oh, thank you so much! Will definitely check it out.
  3. Thank you! I'll check in another week, or so.
  4. Ditto for me. I'm thinking on my spring cruise, my Butler will have it really easy. I can't imagine what I would even need him for.
  5. Agreed, similar opinion for me, based on over 65 cruises.
  6. Post of the day award!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Hear, hear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! totally agree
  8. We just booked a week cruise on the Escape. Is there a link to CURRENT menu's for dining venue's on the Escape? This will be my first NCL cruise since The Norway in the mid 80s. I wanted to give them our business since they were the leaders in dropping the "vaxx" mandate & now doing away with covid testing for un"vaxx" passengers. Thanks!
  9. Never. I've been on over 60 cruises (long & short) and have never sent out clothes to be cleaned.
  10. Not true...I've seen it happen with my own eyes. Thankfully, I was there to steady and hold onto an elderly lady walking down the hall or those teens would have caused to her fall and possible break something.
  11. But the OP stated: "if you have had close contact with a person with covid, you will be denied boarding".. The policy you quoted above does not say anything about someone just "being close to someone with covid". It deals with an actual positive test result, which is understandable. Just being in contact with a covid + person, does not mean you are automatically going to get covid.
  12. If you stood at the balcony railing, could you see all the way down to the water?
  13. We are thinking about booking the Escape. But I LOVE to stand at the railing and look down at the water. I thought the lifeboats were on Deck 7? But they are still obstructing the view down to the water? Bummer
  14. Yeah, what is up with that? My husband just mentioned that to me yesterday. Why different rules depending if you come in by air vs sea? I'm not really understanding the confusion. I might call the Embassy and see if they can explain it. đŸ˜‚
  15. That's really great news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just hate to take that risk, though. Although I could use my certified BC if it wasn't back, I guess.
  16. Even that site has conflicting info. One page says everyone over 12 HAS to be "vaccinated" and then another page says Unvaxxed people can have a negative test 3 days before travel. So, which is it? Hoe frustrating.
  17. Exactly right! There are folks (like me) that have allergies that cause them to cough. Some people get coughing as a side effect from a medication. Some folks have bronchitis or other pulmonary problems. Coughs are not always covid related and many coughs are just that....coughs. Not dangerous & not contagious.
