  1. Have to say it was a beautiful but hot day. Last night when we departed it was really rough sailing. Even the staff in Luminae were having a difficult time walking.
  2. B2B was a breeze for Suites / Zenith. Could show up to Eden anytime between 7:00 and 9:00 and we were processed and given new cards within 5 minutes. Just sat down and an agent came up like in Terminal 25. Regular guests had a long line.
  3. For those from Sydney, I noticed two guys on the bridge next door. Asked a Sydney friend. He said it was James Tobin, Sunrise on 7 Captain had said in a briefing on previous cruise we would be arriving 5:30 and would be met with fire boats, would do a 360 and news helicopters for Edge inaugural visit to Sydney to kick off new season. Nothing happened to the disappointment of those that got up early.
  4. Internet is really slow. May be the cyclone is causing problems. Slower than classic.
  5. It was funny... we were meeting David and Robert at the Art Museum for lunch. Really hot on the way up but on the way home there was a nice breeze and comfortable until we got to Circular Quay. I've been hydrating before we left. Also picked up a BP Monitor. Doctor was wanting me to seen him BP an Pulse rates. Luckily both look good and not really dehydrated after leaving the ship.
  6. I have to admit it's a head full and has a mind of it's self. My hairdresser has to thin it with thinning shears.
  7. Today was fun. We have departed Sydney but for whatever reason getting terrible internet. Speeds less than 1 download and .5 upload. Hope it's temporary.
  8. She was perfectly fitted for the UK market. I remember you Covid StayCation. Seems so long ago now. Time flies.
  9. Sherrill Those memories will always be with you and David will be with you forever.
  10. No I haven’t. Would love to see here again. She was talking about ending her career at sea. Totally understand.
  11. I hope so he deserves it. He was prepping in this picture. We were last in Luminae one night and the were clowning around. Marcus and Sonny swapped jobs Some how Marcus got into Sonny’s jacket
  12. Is this any good. The Hotel Director just sent. Iain doesn’t drink red so told him to send to Luminae for a credit against a bottle he enjoy like Pouilly-Fuisse. I think it was for B2B. Unless it was from the negative attention to detail complaint about the wine. The wine he drinks the Luminae Sommelier has only been able to get two bottles in the past week and we know it’s onboard. We met with the Cellarmaster and he says. He has it and will make sure there is a supply tonight and rest of cruise.
  13. Probably the opposite. At last our waiter tries to bring more of anything - He usually drops at least one extra entree on the table every night even though we tell him no.
  14. Abby - Generally you don't contact the ships concierge directly. You contact the Shore-side and they coordinate. The reason they till you they send to the ship is on all the ships. Even the M'd on the ship does not have access to the reservation until the morning of the cruise. The M'd generally then puts in the reservations they requested before general boarding.
  15. I'm currently in a CS on Edge and will be moving to a RS next cruise. The butler we have has been the best we have ever had. We didn't expect things to be covered in Refrig - First day I brought back some Tonic and San Pellegrino. Next day he told me I didn't need to do that - he would keep it stocked. When he notices anything he stocks it I currently have on the counter 2 Evians, 1 CAn water, 3 VitaminWaters and 4 San Pellegrino. The refrig has Tonic, Fresh Lemons daily, a couple beers, milk for Iain's tea and more San Pellegrino. On the first day of the cruise he told us they had discontinued delivering daily treats because 80% ended in garbage. If we wanted them he would deliver anything we wanted. We really don't use him and he is constantly stopping by and asking if he can get us something. He started leaving nuts, chocolate bark and cookies. I don't like food in the room as I'm a grazer and it ends up in my stomach... hmmm... I'm munching on some Almonds now. Room Service is available from 11 AM - 5 Am - then they have specific hours for 6-9:30 for Breakfast and 9:30 - 11 for Continental They don't do Luminae in room, but I'm sure ours would do it if I asked.
  16. We had a fantastic time on Apex. Best waiter and assistant ever. Sony and Marcus. I hear Marcus is on Aex now.
