  1. You can make the appointment weeks ahead or minutes ahead. Up to you. I did mine about a week in advance.
  2. I would hate and prefer not even imagine what happened in the beds we sleep in. I think I prefer thinking about my laundry.
  3. One real advantage of a B2B is that you have a tendency to kick back on the second cruise and not feel like you have to do everything. We really enjoy the cruise without having to be in the Crowded Theater and Casino. Believe me (being diagnosed on the B2B testing of a B3B) this Omicron variant is very contagious). I was never on an elevator, show or casino. Wore a mask 100% of time when out of room. Never ate in Buffet and was luck that in Luminae they kept others more than 6 feet away from us. I still got it. The good news was it was so mild I would have never known I had it except for the test. I hope you have continued good luck and have a wonderful 2nd half of your vacation. I'm enjoying both of your smiling faces in all the pictures.
  4. Thanks... we always love sitting at the bar.
  5. Silhouette does have a U Shaped bar. They took out the Refrigerator that use to be where the one on Reflection is located. When we were on Silhouette the ship was really short staffed and the bartender had no bar back and had to both handle the bar, tote the ice and glasses and do all the clean up. He was fantastic in spite.
  6. I Googeled on the origin of the name of the game. When you first learn about the sport, the name “pickleball” often produces a laugh, especially since no pickles are involved. But there is some debate on how the name was originated. There are two different accounts. The first account is according to Joan Pritchard, Joel Pritchard, she started calling the game pickleball because the combination of different sports reminded her of the pickle boat in crew where oarsmen were chosen from the leftovers of the other boats. The second account from Barney McCallum says pickleball was named after Pritchard’s dog Pickles, who would chase the ball and run with it. Some believe Pickles was named after the game because he didn’t join the family until a couple of years after the game was created.
  7. If using the App you can just go directly to select boarding time. I often do this and then come back later to complete the rest.
  8. We cruise quite a bit and can honestly say I have never had anything ruined either with the normal laundry or Dry Cleaning. We send out lots of Cotton T-Shirts and Cotton Slacks and nothing has been shrunken more than we would experience at home. We've even sent out Golf Hats and they come back clean and not destroyed.
  9. Was recently on the B2B to Iceland and back and then the Canadian Coastal. I don't recall seeing it, but then I really wasn't looking. In the past they would also leave a flyer on you bed about it. Possibly since Laundry services have also been working short staffed the intentionally didn't try to generate extra work.
  10. This will be our second attempt at our first B3B. Earlier this year, we had to cut our vacation short because we tested positive on the last day of the 2nd leg. We missed the Norwegian Fjords but this cruise may make up for it. The first two cruises are a B2B Transatlantic from Port Liberty to Reykjavik, Iceland and Back to Boston. The final one is a New England and Canada cruise. We will visit many of the ports twice and a couple 3 times. It allowed us to plan something different on the duplicate ports.
