  1. We decided to stay aboard today. We may go ashore tonight but for sure tomorrow to go Whale Watching. I discovered they still have Affogato on Solstice.
  2. The ship must be empty. I just did a speed test as was blown away.
  3. We definitely shifted for one day last week and will be doing the same in 2 days again. Having said that I have been on a number of cruises over the year where they stayed on ships time. If taking private tours most had one spouse stay on ships time and one on local time. Confusing but it worked. In September we had an even more confusing one. Newfounland is a 1/2 hour time zone. We stayed on ships time for this port on both cruises. The Captain has the final word on whether the ship observes a time zone or not. No sure if it has changed but Cunard use to shift timezone on TA's at noon instead of midnight.
  4. Lol. At first I too a double take at you picture and wondered how I missed the green highlights
  5. It wasn’t visible where we were anchored. Last week there were 3 ships in port. This week there is just Disney and us. You really can’t see it from the town. Also last time we were getting ready for the Rugged 4x4 tour and didn’t get back until we’ll after dark.
  6. Arriving in Cabo. We finally got to see the arch. Last week we missed it.
  7. I’m having the same problem with my Firestick. I had to fire up a mini router and working fine. I also have a Roku and it has a portal to log on. You can also create a hotspot using a pc.
  8. Last night was the first Chic night. The ship really feels empty.
  9. Beautiful sunrise. Hey, isn’t the sun supposed to raise in the East.
  10. Hate to say but haven't even tried it our. I usually use it or the one in the Master Bathroom at least once.
  11. It appears that they replaced them all before they resumed sailing so almost in as new condition. I did notice they have new cushions on the sofa. The bed is the Cashmere mattress and is a true King. It feels so much larger than the bed in the SS.
  12. Linda - I agree 100%. Also imagine this. The chair to the vanity actually fits under the desk. What a novel Concept. The other thing I like is there are actually electrical outlets next to the sofa and none of the 100 pieces of useless kitch the cluttered every surface.
  13. I really enjoy the S-Class. One thing we really like is that it has Murano, which is my favorite Specialty Dining spot. We are going tomorrow and have invited Mar to join us. Should be fun as she has never been to Murano. The next night will be Tuscan. We chose those two nights because they were the least favorite menus in Luminae / MDR combination.
  14. iain was a little concerned about being so close to the stairs but it has worked out perfect and is very quiet. They moved our Butler, Loyd, down to continue taking care of us. Our new stateroom attendant is Pramod. He is really good and very engaging. He immediately picked up that we prefer he not tuck the sheets in the end of the bed and make it up more as a duvet.
  15. That was the main reason we departed in Tokyo a day earlier. Could get a lay flat seat for 1/2 the points. It went very smoothly.
  16. I posted on my current live post. The menu of the Edge one that has been posted a number of times is the current menu on all ships. I spoke to the Waiter that was servicing the Cabanas on Solstice. He said that in addition to the menu you can order anything from the room service menu. I took a picture and added to post below
  17. Curious if anyone has had Non-Alcoholic Gin. Does it actually taste like Gin? I"m not a drinker and was wondering if it actually good or even similar. Inquiring mind wants to know.
  18. I found out that you go to the Cashier and she transfers it to your card and gives you instructions on how to redeem from card. As others said the entire amount becomes promotional play. Also found if you transferred it to the machine you can't transfer it off and have to play the amount you put on the individual machine. Definitely don't recommend. Others may disagree.
  19. Creme Brulee still on the Classics MDR on Solstice
  20. We've done Private Journey excursions and really enjoyed them. BTW - Herma was moved to Singh's position. She's good but not Mr. Singh.
  21. We were awarded top cruiser and present with a nice bottle of Macron-Village Chardonnay and a beautiful flower arrangement.
  22. Participated in a fun CC Slot pull. My first. @SHIP TRAVELER organized the event.
  23. I really loved the 4x4 self drive tour of the beaches an desert. We were offered three taco's but I only wanted two. I'm the same I enjoyed the tour but not the best of our life. Probably an hour or more longer than could have been. I did enjoy a swim in the pool at the Villa.
