Been there. Following and posting to multiple threads is hard.

Sometimes crowd control and signage is not strong with Carnival. You would think a large corporation could do better. On the Magic a few weeks ago I was at the Deli and what I thought was the order line but actually it was on the side. Problem was the order here sign was right on the middle of the two lines. I politely said “why don’t we turn the sign to the ordering side” and turned it. The sign was like that for the rest of the cruise. When you’re on a vacation with so many variables tolerance goes a long way.

I had the tomato soup that @MeganGC1983 already mentioned. It was very good. I also had the salmon also quite good. I’m waiting for my cheesecake minus the strawberry sauce. After dinner I think I’ll head to what I’m sure is a packed casino.

I’m at DFW right now. Should be boarding but I have a 30 minute delay. DFW is an absolute zoo, A lot of flights were cancelled this morning so there’s a lot of stressed out people.

The Icon of the Seas is in and out of Port Miami this week too. Yesterday was in port media day.

I doubt it. I've been let down so many times by the Cowboys. If they lose, they lose. Plus I'm originally from SW Michigan. I've been known to cheer for a few midwest teams.

I'm a Cowboys fan. On Sunday I will be splitting my time between watching the game (around the ship) and watching Tribe shenanigans IRL!

It's crazy windy in Fort Worth. I had to move my furniture inside. It was flying all over my balcony. I thought I was going to lose my rug. I've only had to do this once before.

You are right the concept of using an online presence started earlier than ten years ago. But as a humorous nod to how things are changing, instead of using Google to research the history of social media influencing, I used an AI product. I am curious to see where the influencer market tops out.

I know "Social Media Influencer" sounds so strange. I retired from teaching a few years ago. One thing is true, it's not like the good old days where your trained for an existing job like a nurse or teacher. We have no idea what jobs will exist in 5 to 10 years, like social media influencer. That wasn't even a thing 10 years ago. I watch YouTube for reviews on all sorts of things, hotels, clothes at Old Navy, cleaning hacks, cruising. If someone can offer solid suggestions that people are interested in and create a video that a lot of people watch, that makes you an influencer. And it's not just YouTube there are tons of other social media platforms. If you have a good following, advertisers will pay to have placement on your videos. But some social media influencers are not good at video editing, so if they have the funds, they hire people to edit their videos. That is another lucrative job, that can be done from home. And now there are now advertising companies that just represent people on social media. It just blows me away. The teaching and nursing jobs are still there, but the other opportunities are amazing.
