    WOW, just WOW.

That is so funny. I was just about to post here. I have just been reading Royal's Australian social media feeds, and they are copping a bagging for trying to WOW their loyal patrons with a cookie-cutter ship. Apparently the show is different. Flogging a dead giraffe?

I look forward to them spinning the WOW of a 20th century ship heading for Brisbane.

I would be more WOW'd if I could get a Southo & Coke for under $AU15 and a meal at Chop's for under $AU70. At this stage, until I can get the last few nights to diamond qual, it looks like I can only afford Anthem if we are going on a detox cruise.

I’m looking forward to Voyager’s hype also.

Going from a quantum,to a 20 year older voyager will be so exciting.

But what is the point of hiding a Voyager class ships bookings behind Voyager of the Seas bookings. Different if they wanted to go WOW, surprise, here is Freedom of the Seas (example). Apart from buying a different fridge magnet, Adventure would just be a charade to those that need some good oil in their WOW.

It’s starting Geoff, from what I understand Anthem isn’t quite as good condition as Ovation but identical.

Same girl,a bit older and different name.

WOW we have a new ship for you aren’t you excited.

Fosters: The most famous Australian beer invented by Americans.

I’m not sure about that,it was a Carlton United Brewery brand ,an Australian brewery based in Melbourne . I think it’s now owned by Dr Pepper.

But anyway it tastes like Sh#t  and  it’s better than Budweiser.

My dear old daddy used to say we don’t drink for the taste . We drink for the alcohol.

Hahaha, I thought "only in America" [sorry USA] until I got to the last paragraph. I was waiting to see how much kitty's fare would be, and thinking all the way through that my little boy would hate it anyway 🤣

It was on the discovery of the seas site ,right at the end it says April Fools

I had a cruise booked going through the Suez (booked it 2 weeks before the Middle East War started).  There is I believe an ACCC rule that the airlines must return your airfare cost for cancellation, minus cancellation cost for each leg of the trip (there were 6 for the two of us, so that totalled about $120 x 6 legs = $720).  Royal Caribbean compensated us for nearly the whole $720.  I also booked seats by the exit door (more leg room) but that extra was non-refundable.  If I booked an overseas trip again, I would leave booking the seats until a later time.  I booked with Emirates and there was a cancellation button, it was so easy.   Waiting for Royal to cancel and not knowing was the worst part.

Sounds like you were lucky Rassa .

I was going to incorporate it with a European trip and if they cancel it it would make things difficult.

I don’t think they will bring Voyager, maybe a better ship. Navigator or Adventure.

Brisbane has proven to not be popular and putting a unpopular ship there would be a disaster.

They might fill it with locals but people aren’t going to fly log distance to get on a run down ship in a ugly port.

Hey Rassa , found something for you.

I hear the Travel Agents are concerned if Voyager goes on sale going thru the Suez on the way to Oz.

Do you think the repo will be on sale soon?

I don’t know but I’m tempted to book it .The trouble is if it changes you loose the airfare and that’s pretty substantial.

It’s a newer ship ,Geoff it’s like dating twins, they look the same but are different.

Cruise Passenger is only going by the test runs overnight.

No official word from Gavin yet.

Remember Grandeur came out on the tests for Alaska and was replaced by Serenade.

Looking at Adventure,it’s constantly doing 6-8 night cruises out of Port Canaveral up till the end of 2026.

Explorer and Voyager are also seasonally home ported there.

They could quite easily swap Voyager for Adventure and bring it around the bottom of South America. I think they did that with Mariner ? Not sure it was one of the Voyager class.

Adventure is the only Voyager class that hasn’t been to the Pacific. It would even be acceptable in Singapore for 6 months of the year.

Have been lurking on the CC forums for many years, but will re look at the Ts&Cs again.

Not really a secret though (Lelepa) when staff are discussing their visit to the island and tour options they are exploring & testing with local providers, with passengers on board a cruise. And the fact numerous Vanuatu immigration and tourism staff were on the ship at Mystery Island.

I’ve been hearing rumours and confirmation from staff also ,they even have it on their Next cruise channel on the ships.

Vanuatu is a small place, you would think something as big as a multinational throwing millions around would be on the news. Some of the articles in the local paper are as trivial as a road being done up ,someone missing and even a cow got out.

It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been wrong but I can’t see how it would be viable to invest in a private resort to be served by 3-4 ships for 6 months of the year.

There have actually been industry articles recently showing Quantum has carried more than Ovation out of Sydney. But they have also had Brilliance there this season.

We were on the Easter cruise too. We just posted a video on our YouTube channel while on board that pretty much confirmed Voyager for Brisbane, Anthem for Sydney and a big update on Lelepa too.

Welcome to CC ,you might want to read the terms and conditions about posting on here.

I have been trawling Vanuatu’s media and construction tenders for years.
The only thing I have found about Royal Caribbean and the island of Lelepa resently was a donation of furniture things to the school. (Strangle a charity also claims they donated it )

If they are building the resort, they are keeping it a fantastic secret from the rest of Vanuatu.

It’s pretty good how they do a story on some YouTubers and bloggers.

Its looking like Anthem might cut its South Hampton deployment short to come around the bottom of Africa to Singapore.

Im looking for Voyager’s repo , if it happens ??

With the rumours of Adventure,it might come around the bottom of South America to Brisbane.

A$230 pn for presumably an IC for the Anthem cruise is certainly showing that cruise costs are high. Gone are the days of a $200 balcony 😞 Lucky we get the C&A 'price' for drinks 🙂

You need to get in early mr walker, the lack of ships are going to push the prices up.
