If I have a booking for a deluxe balcony cabin, already paid deposit, can I switch to a balcony guarantee? I would save about $1,000.

My family of 4 is looking into tours of the Cotswolds. The tour operator is located outside of London and wants us to take the train from Paddington to Moreton.
Where we are from there are no trains and we don't use public transportation. Therefore, I need details on how I purchase tickets and whatever other info I may need for this train ride. Are there plenty stairs , is it a long walk in the terminal, etc.?
We are staying in London in the Mayfair area, so we would probably take a taxi to Paddington. After that I am lost as to what to do.
Thanks

Thanks. My concern is for our stay in London. So I am assuming I will need just an adapter in London, is that correct?
QUOTE=uksimonusa;45706764]You can, he voltage is the same for all intents and purposes, but the SHip has the European plugs not the UK ones, so it should plug straight in

Ok guys & gals I need some help, too. Last year while in Barcelona I invested in a flat iron with the European plug. I figured I had my bases covered for the next European cruise. However, I have now find out that the UK uses a different plug and voltage.
So my question is this, can I use an adapter on the Europe plug to the UK plug? I think Europe runs 220 and UK 230.
Thanks

Where in Paris is the drop off when using Royal Caribbean? We may be interested in doing this also.

Thanks for the suggestions. We have found an apartment in the Mayfair area, that is perfect for us.
Thanks everyone!

That is such a pretty little village; we went there on the way back to
LeHarve from a quick trip to Paris. We were on a private tour, so I can't
help with transportation. We loved it.
Hi,
Can you tell me the name of the tour company? This is what we want to do.
Thanks

Can anyone tell me if Honfleur and LeHavre have street artist? I like bringing home paintings from the places I visit.
Thanks

Where did the bus drop you off?
We booked through the cruise line -- Paris On Your Own.Basically, it provided transportation to Paris and back which worked out great for us. :)

Thanks Bob, I have made a few inquiries.
QUOTE=Bob++;45498157]Hard to beat Trip Advisor for this kind of thing. Have a look here: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/VacationRentals-g186338-Reviews-London_England-Vacation_Rentals.html
Anyone who fails to respond promptly to email enquiries is pretty suspect in my book. Barge poles come to mind.

Hi,
For 2 weeks now I have sent request for quotes and availability on several apartments. I have only received 1 response and it was on an apartment that required a longer stay. I called the number this morning, some guy I could barely understand said the booking team would reply to my requests.
Has anyone else had this problem with them? Are there any other rental companies that I could book thru. I tried London perfect but they want a 5 night stay and we can only stay 3 nights.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

If I book a cabin for 2 ppl at the discounted price, if 1 person backs out prior to final payment will I lose the second person discount? or have to pay the current fare?
Would it be more beneficial for me to book for 2 ppl now rather than 1 ppl.? Discount also applies to 1 ppl booking right now.
The cruise I am looking at is 10 months from now.
Thanks

During our 5 night post cruise stay in Barcelona a few weeks ago we used a tour guide that took us into France for 2 days. Check this out and see if it may be cheaper.
Planning is part of the fun. Hope this helps!

For anyone interested we just returned and I found a tour company that will take you to a coastal village in France for the day. If anyone is interested the name is easeetrip.com Federico was our guide and was awesome!
-
We have returned from our trip and wanted to say Thank you for all the suggestions. Well we made it to France, but in a different way than expected. While checking in to our rented apartment we asked the agent if she knew of any tour guides who went into France. Bingo! EASEETRIP.COM with Federico. He was a great guide he took us to the coastal town of Collioure, France. It has a castle and fort right on the water. We loved it. We drove along the coastal highway to get there starting in Portbou, Spain where we stopped for coffee. A day trip from Barcelona is very doable. We left @9 and was back in Barcelona by 4 including time for lunch in Collioure. I sure wish I knew how to post pictures.

Well, we have blown out quite a few items also. First med trip 2 fans, even with converters, while in Rome hotel. so for my second med trip I decided to take everyone here advice and bought both a dual voltage dryer and flat iron, only because we were staying in Spain for 5 nights post cruise. So the first day I plug in the blow dryer and it starts to smell fried so I turn it off and use the one that was in the apartment. After drying was complete I tried the flat iron and it started to smell fried also. So I went out with frizzy hair that day. When we returned to the apartment that evening I walked to the Department store across the street and bought a flat iron with a european plug, problem solved. I figured I can always take it on the ships, since they have both outlets. Since most hotels and apartments have dryers i will hold off on that purchase.

Well I found some art for my collection. When in Malaga we went to Mijas, picked up 2 small paintings. In Barcelona I got 2 small paintings of the Gothic quarter and in Tossa de Mar I got another. I am so happy. The only place I wasn't find one was Collioure, France. Next time!
-
We used them for our Montserrat tour and airport transfer during our post cruise stay back in May. They were very professional and courteous.
We also used easeetrip.com for a tour into Collioure,France along the coast and some medieval towns of Pals, Tossa de Mare and Peratallada Spain.
Both companies were great but we needed someone to take us out of the city to France and easeetrip took care of that.

Thanks everyone!
The cruise I am interested in is the Vision out of Barcelona on Oct. 19 2015. So it would be at the later part of the month which may not be the best time to go. Although cheaper, maybe not as enjoyable weather wise. I may have to rethink this trip. Both my other europe trips were in spring with great weather.
-
I have been researching for a possible cruise in Oct. 2015. Prices are good, but now I am wondering about the weather and hours of sunshine at that time of year. I've read that Venice, Italy only gets 6 hours a day, could that be correct?

Not that big a big deal. What bothered me was the attitude of customs. They seemed to really enjoy inconveniencing everyone and seemed to be having a good time in so doing.
Had the same thing happen to us in Falmouth. Took everything out of our bags, confiscated all liquids even unopened bottled waters. If my cruise stops there I won't get off the ship.
-
Same thing is happening with our TA on Serenade. Only 2 bedroom suite or JS and GS guarantee showing, and that's only if I can get around the screen showing N/A.

We are not staying at a hotel, but at an apartment with no computer or internet. Are there any places in Barcelona that have computers and printers (at a cost) where we could print our boarding passes?
Paris and taxis ?
