  1. lol, it's completely broken now. Error Error For support, contact our Contact Center at 833-417-3407. Back to the previous page
  2. what kind of suggestions are you looking for? what questions do you have? Do the "teens" have special needs? Or the adults?
  3. well, I dunno. We fit just fine in an inside on Regal. All three of us. What I do make sure to check, though, is whether it's a connecting cabin. No, thank you. So dang noisy, especially if the people have a screaming toddler.
  4. I believe if it's a medallion cruise, you can book in advance. We did.
  5. you can click on my signature link for Enchanted to see the menus in Nov 2022 (Southern Caribbean sailing). It may be different from the current European sailings, though.
  6. yeah, MSC website was glitching really badly yesterday. Showed my cruise in Nov 2023 as sold out whereas it was not even close to it 4 days ago.... back to somewhat normal today, but cabins are only available on deck 11 and above. Crazy.
  7. and just like magic, plenty of inside cabins are available for 1 or 2 people. But not on deck 10 which I need... Booked deck 11 just in case for now, and if deck 10 becomes available, I will ask to move the booking there. If not, oh well.
  8. we thought Caribbean Princess was old and tired when we were sailing on her in 2016. I think she got refurbed later, but we still don't want to sail on her again. That's just my opinion. We strongly prefer newer ships.
  9. there is a great many threads here just like yours. A couple every week.
  10. We saw a man (very obviously American) in a tank top and swimming trunks at the Allure MDR in 2019. His wife/girlfriend was equally decked out in a swimsuit and a transparent coverup. RCI definitely enforced the dress code a lot better in 2009 on our first cruise: our friend wasn't allowed into the MDR in cargo shorts. We dress a bit more casually now (DH got a rental tux on his first cruise because we didn't know that they were not required), but still look nice in business casual attire.
  11. even adults can sleep on those pullman beds, so a 13 yo and a 14 yo will definitely fit as well, unless they are well over 6' tall and 250# - they might be a little too long for it, but the feet can overhang... I think that you may be getting upset over something that is not very important to your grandkids.
  12. well, I still hope it's a malfunction because all cabins but suites are sold out for 2 people. $ 3,713.54 total.
  13. but that's how you get plagued by the emails. 🙂
  14. I check every couple of days. A couple of days ago it wasn't anywhere near sold out in those categories. Not even half way. I already booked us and my parents and I am now planning to book MIL as well...
  15. My son was 3 on his first cruise and he still took naps. Since he took a nice nap in the middle of the day, he had no problem staying up through dinner in MDR (while watching cartoons on a tablet with headphones) and seeing some early shows. For late shows one of us had to stay in the cabin with him when he slept at night, with the other one going to see a show. Then we switched. This was also the one and only cruise on which DS agreed to go to the kid's club. He lasted 20 minutes after which they asked us to come get him. He is going to be 12 in 2 weeks and to this day he refuses to go to the kid's club on the cruise. Just my 2 cents - be prepared if your kid doesn't want to go.
  16. in that case, could I book 2 people in an inside, and the second person would be a no show? I mean - if we are paying double anyway, right?
  17. the prices did go up by about $30 pp, but it was about 3 weeks ago.
  18. but I checked it for 1, 2 and 3 people - and nothing is available (inside or balcony). That's why I am so surprised.
  19. I am more concerned about the non-availability of interiors for any number of people. It's still not working.
  20. I check prices on our sailing every couple of days - planning to book another cabin for 1 person. Last week the cruise wasn't even half full in either inside or balcony categories. Today, ALL inside and balcony cabins are sold out for 1, 2 or 3 people. How can that be? Could it be a website glitch? Oh, and the total price doesn't show up at the bottom anymore. P.S. the sailing is a Thanksgiving cruise on Seascape.
  21. not all that unusual: Cape Liberty (New York), New Jersey Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas Philipsburg, St. Maarten St. John's, Antigua Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis Cape Liberty (New York), New Jersey and the other one has St Lucia instead of Antigua. Oh, and to add insult to injury, this sailing has KSF promotion on it. That's WITH the Kids Sail Free promotion for the 3 of us. It's a freaking joke! It's even more expensive today. This is the one with St Lucia: Room $7,282.00 3 Guests Balcony Forward Deck 8 #8530 Summary Cruise fare $7,282.00 Discounts (2) Flash Sale Instant Savings $-100.00 30% off and Kids Sail Free $-3,166.00 Subtotal $4,016.00 Taxes & fees $584.61 Due today $1,350.00 Total price $4,600.61 USD And if DS turned 13 before this cruise, the total would be 5,199.61 USD. This is the one with Antigua: Cruise fare $7,164.00 Discounts (2) Flash Sale Instant Savings $-100.00 30% off and Kids Sail Free $-3,104.00 Subtotal $3,960.00 Taxes & fees $617.97 Due today $1,350.00 Total price $4,577.97 USD
  22. was it not clear that it's a price "For the 3 of us on the same Anthem cruise in an ocean view balcony" in January 2024? I simply got a price quote for the 3 of us in a balcony on RCI website on the cruise you wrote about as being a great value to you. Maybe, you are rich, I don't know you, but it's not a great value to us - not even close. We spent a week on the Allure for $2,000 in an OV balcony in 2022. That was a good price - for 2022. 10 years ago - not even close. 13 years ago when we just started cruising, we paid $258!!!!!! pp plus tax for a 7 night cruise on Independence total. Not per day. In December 2009. Good times. We (all 3 of us) are going to be in a balcony on MSC Seascape this Thanksgiving for $2,200 with drinks and wifi included. Is this better than $4,418? Yes. It's half the price!
  23. how's that a value? For the 3 of us this Anthem cruise in an OV balcony is 4,418.61 USD. NOT A GREAT VALUE! I paid $2,800 for a 10 day cruise on Enchanted Princess for the 3 of us during Thanksgiving. Plus, like I said - we cruise with a school aged kid, so we have to cruise during school holidays.
