  1. we have and we do. DS is 11 and he loves cruising no matter what line. My BFF (late 40s like me) with 13 and 15 yo kids has been cruising with Princess exclusively for the past several years. They have tried RCI and Celebrity and didn't like it.
  2. we sailed on a medallion cruise back in 2019 on Regal, at full capacity, and didn't have any problems. What problems specifically are you referring to?
  3. well, we didn't have an issue when all the passengers had to get plastic cards, why would we have an issue with the medallions?
  4. which Crowne Plaza is that? We are staying there, but it's not "right across the street from the cruise port entrance", although it's close to the port.
  5. the medallions are coming from overseas - China or Singapore, so it's obviously the supplier's problem. Not "shame on Princess."
  6. y'all, I just got an email that our medallions shipped for our Nov 19 cruise. We are 5 days out. No way we are going to get them in time... And the tracking number says it's invalid.
  7. lol, seriously? Regal Princess had horrible beds (hard as a rock and lumpy) and we sailed on her a couple of times anyway. I hope they switched them to the new beds by now.
  8. open app tap on go to Ocean ready (very stubborn and unyielding) medallion order status - now shows "pickup order at port". Before it said "shipped". When I clicked on Order History, it still said "not shipped", but others said they could see the tracking number.

  10. don't sweat the small stuff. Our boarding times start at 1 pm and end AFTER our cruise sails, lol. No biggie. I got the first group at 1 pm, but we are going to show up around 11 anyway.

  12. I didn't get an email. I saw the status "shipped" in the app.
  13. while this is true, the Save button under it is inactive and will not let me save the preferred name. Believe me, both my DH and I have unpronounceable names and would gladly go by our preferred names onboard. Staff doesn't even bother with our names, unless they are from the same countries and can actually pronounce them (which happens, but not a lot). ETA: I had to refill all the emergency and other personal information in order to add a preferred name. Used the web version of the app.
  14. we are on an Enchanted Princess on Nov 19, and ours were shipped today. You just pick one up at the port instead if you don't get it on time.
  15. nope. I am on the same cruise as WatchHill, also ordered them in August, and our medallions haven't shipped yet either.

  17. there wasn't one on the Allure. I am night blind, and we usually bring one with us, but there was a built-in light on Harmony, so we didn't bring one with us on the Allure. I fell trying to use the bathroom at night). I highly recommend small battery operated lights.
  18. you may want to ask on RCI board instead. If they have a carousel like Harmony and Allure, it should be a hit with a toddler. We are going to be on Oasis next spring, but have been on Harmony and Allure. Should be a tiny splash area for kids in swim diapers.
  19. not the coffee card. Coffee and soda package - unlimited. But if one doesn't drink soda, then I'd definitely go for the coffee card.
  20. Coffee and Soda package is $23 pp per day including tax and doesn't appear to limit the number of coffees or sodas.
  21. I don't know, I wasn't there. I read it on this subforum.
