My husband was on the phone with them for over 6 hours yesterday- no exaggeration. This is usually my job, but I asked him to do it as I still work and knew it would take awhile. Never did get what we wanted. Sigh! I miss my retired PVP. If you have a good one, worth their weight in gold! Well, almost!

My PVP has done this in the past several times for me... kept my airfare, rebooked cabin at a lower price. My new PVP "cannot do this". I lost out on a great price drop. Needless to say not happy with my ne PVP.

I would never leave money in the room for the steward. I always give it to him/her on the last night. Disembarkation days a whole troupe of people descend to stips the beds, clean out the cabin, etc. Not likely the steward got that money.

Best you cancel, if that's how you feel and cruise when conditions meet your expectations.

I also had MR and was satisfied with her service, always prompt, did what I requested, no problems doing an upgrade, etc. Now I have RW. I've tried contacting her once with a voice message, she never replied. Just tried again this weekend regarding a price drop on a cruise that is paid in full but not past the final payment date. We'll see if she responds. Should I put a courtesy hold on the cabin I want to keep it from being booked? I'm afraid RW will not respond and I'll be scrambling.
