It just isn't fair! I am wearing green, I am according to Ancestry 93% Irish and I have paid for my son to Irish Dance for 12 years...you would think that would get me even 100 points, but no, not today!!

Looking through the questions there doesn't seem to be a lot written about the Tampa Cruise Port experience. We are looking to fly in the day before our cruise. My son will turn 21 at midnight, then getting on the ship the next day. We have made this an extended family cruise, and he will have a lot of his older cousins going with him. We are looking for an area where we can maybe get a few hotel rooms, but it will be close to nightlife so that at midnight he can have his first "legal" US drink. We do not plan on renting a car, so we need a place that with uber or public transportation we can stay the night, the youngins can go out to have a few drinks with the birthday boy, and we can easily with uber or public transportation get to the ship in the morning. I think that most of the hotel bars close at about 11, so if there is one that has a later bar, that would be great, if not a place with nightlife near by. Thanks if anyone can direct us to a good location.

While I have some Carnival cruises planned, it looks like we might be taking out first NCL in January. Just a quick 4 day for my son's 21st birthday. I will miss not having GC's for it! A new adventure for us! Today on the spin game I actually won 800 points!! Go me!!

Thanks! We haven't booked yet, so I can't try. I am coming up with many different scenarios, and the two most likely put him having his birthday on the ship. Good advice on going to GS and having him unflagged! I am sure he will appreciate that! Cruising became a great way for us to spend time with them while growing up, and I hope as they get older and go on their own they remember the cruises we had and keep cruising on their own. Our oldest is having trouble convincing his friends to cruise! I guess he just has to go with us more!

For child #1, when he turned 21 we took him on a cruise that stopped in Key West. The cruise was the day after his birthday, so his cheers package worked out great. Child #2, I am limited due to college break schedule, and looks like he will turn 21 day two of a cruise. He will be sharing a cabin with his older brother, who will have Cheers, so of course we will get him Cheers. I realize he can't drink on the ship until day 2. But wasn't sure how cruises dealt with this. Thanks for any thoughts!

My life is getting stranger. If I go into My Prizes, it shows that I received 1000 points for completing the crossword. I didn’t complete the crossword….I didn’t do any of the games today. No one else has access to my password.

I buy the cruise cash, but not more than I am going to use. This way once on the ship I don’t have to worry about them. I take the cash out in the slot machine, and my husband will then use it at the tables.

I keep waiting to hear from Allstate Rewards that I won the Carnival Cruise that was the sweepstakes last month, but surprisingly no email yet....lol... If someone here won, please come back to tell us. Out of curiosity, has anyone here ever won anything really big? I don't usually put in for the sweepstakes, but thought I would for the cruise. I figure my chances of winning aren't great, so I usually don't bother.

Are you a member and are you logged in? I logged in and found them. They are listed at Premium. Members only. After you sign in, look for the drop box that has Discover on it. Go to the "Redeem" and then "Members Only"

I felt so lucky today, I won 500 on the scratch off! No Carnival cards today, but I am sure they will be back in a week or so. Every day I play the maximum amount of points to win the cruise sweepstakes, so hey, I will keep feeling lucky!!

I would have thought that once Carnival realized how popular it would be they would have started to add more of the rooms on.

I think that Horizon just has more. I really do find it odd.
