  1. I can’t tell you how happy we are with this investment. Made all the difference in the world for us and the dogs. Really did well in the winter with snow and rain.
  2. Beautiful day here with the temperatures in high 60’s. Nice to sit outside and watch Lizzy and Charlie having fun rough housing. IMG_4175.mov
  3. Yeah pricing is outrageous. Looked at a 7 night from San Juan on Rhapsody and it was over $3200 for a balcony. Most we ever pause for a 7 nighter out of SJ was $2500.
  4. Funny thing after we booked this I looked at my other scheduled cruises and this exact ship and itinerary is also booked for us on Bella 3. Checked with wife and she’s ok doing the same ship and itinerary 3 months later.
  5. Just booked a cruise for October 18, 2025. Oasis of the Seas 8 night out of Fort Lauderdale going to Aruba, Curacao and Perfect Day. Four sea days in all. Come join us!!!!!!!
  6. That was good that they did that. I wish Royal would be more clear on what the excursion really is. I know they leave out a lot of details.
  7. Linda and I are so jealous. We wish we could have joined you. Have a great time which I know you will. Have a Kraken Colada for me!
  8. In a couple of weeks. I will happy once I get everything taken care of. My goal is to be completely healthy for our October cruise. I plan on once my hernia and knee replacement have healed enough to get back to working out. I had been in pretty good shape but 40 years doing a very physical job as a television news cameraman took it’s toll.
  9. I'm the same way. I never drink enough water. Too much diet cole and ice with cocktails does not count. 😉 I even need to be better on a cruise drinking water.
  10. Oh George that’s horrible. I’m so sorry that happened to you. I’ve passed out a couple of times. Usually after being dehydrated. I wonder what happened. I’m happy everything is back to normal. Yes taking it easy before your cruise would be in order. Wishing you continued health and hopefully a stress free cruise.
  11. So sorry to hear this Dani. Hoping for good therapy to help regain use again. My thoughts are with you and Alex.
  12. Ah the joys of getting older. I just need to quite having surgeries. THat's the only time when my prostate fails me. It does not like anesthesia medicines.
  13. It was over 6 is what the doctor said. I had been in the 4.5 range which is elevated. The bad thing is the screening was done in October before my knee replacement and my general doctor should have seen the results and said something.
  14. Thanks! I’ll put this in my notes. Looks wonderful. Thank you Marty for this. This seas the exact info I was looking for. Yes I agree Jane. It’s got me worried. Thank you Graham!
  15. I'm doing alittle better. Went to the urologist and they took out the catheter. If things don't get better they may have to put it back in. Main thing he is worried about is my PSA is very high. They want to do a biopsy for prostrate cancer. I am not looking forward to that but I need to do something. We are staying at the Double Tree in San Pedro. Got a fairly decent room rate. We are coming in two nights early as I would like to visit some of LA's famous Tiki Bars. Unfortunately they are not close to San Pedro so I'm sure I will be able to visit some as a Uber would cost about $70 one way.
  16. I would be interested if anyone has a sound decibel meter app on their phone to take some readings in some of these shows.Sounds at 85 dBA can lead to hearing loss if you listen to them for more than 8 hours at a time. Sounds over 85 dBa can damage your hearing faster. I would be very curious what the readings are.
