  1. Actually I was posting about your slot machine win. Nice job though checking prices regularly on the cabana.
  2. Knee update. Met with surgeon today, he thinks I have hit my plateau on knee bend. I’m at 115 degrees which is about what I’ve been at for several weeks. My other knee is at 120 degrees. He thinks it’s time to quit therapy and just work on my own. He also thinks with time my bend will improve. So Friday will be my last day. Now it’s time to focus on prostate. I have an appointment with urologist next week. Did my labs yesterday and my PSA number was 6.16 which is lower than my last test but I’m sure my urologist will want to do a biopsy which I’m not looking forward to. One thing at a time.
  3. Couldn't help but laugh, as if you lived here in Kansas City you would know everything about Travis and his brother Jason. I have had the pleasure of covering Travis career for many years. We know each each other and he has always been great with me. Great guy.
  4. To quote Marlin Brando in Apocalypse Now. “The horror….the horror.” Don’t think I’m brave enough now to ever use a suction cup mount again. For those who don’t remember. Epic fail.
  5. Thats sad. I’ve had the same doctor for over 25 years. He is great and we have a good relationship. Luckily he’s younger than me so I hope I can stay with him many more years.
  6. Sorry I’m a little late but I will be following along. Safe travels wished to you all. I take it you board tomorrow. What’s the plan for Miami tonight? Have a great time.
  7. That’s what I like about the Coco Cay Beach Club. They play a great mix of chill music at lower volumes. It’s there as background music, not overpowering but with a groove that makes you happy.
  8. I am a huge Gino fan. I’ve seen him every time he’s come to Kansas City. I remember hearing his song “Powerful People” with its rich bass synth line and thinking this is the kind of music and groove I love. His album “Storm At Sunup’ blew me away with its advanced arrangements. I was hooked long before most of the public heard “I Just Wanna Stop.” My favorite song is “Brother to Brother” which as a drummer had a killer drum track by the late great Mark Craney. I was so obsessed with his track that I transcribed the whole drum part and played to it hundreds of times. Btw, I just watched the Herb Alpert documentary a few days ago. It was really good. Huge Steve and Edie fan here. Their Christmas album “That Holiday Feeling “ is one of my all time favorites. His voice and range was incredible as well as his harmonies with Edie. He will be missed but I’m glad his music lives on.
  9. Great lineup. I watched a documentary on the Cowsills. It was very interesting. I did not know that the Partridge Family was based on their lives. The producers wanted actors to play the parts instead of the original musicians. I’m sure that will make her birthday special.Happy Birthday wishes for your daughter tomorrow.
