You are so right. My rehab will be life rehab in that I want to get stronger as well as exercise more so I can lose weight and get off blood pressure medication. For years I was busy at work that I didn’t have time. Now being retired I do mo have the time. So let’s do this! -

Yes I did good. The only problem is getting a good nights sleep. Hopefully I will get it tonight. I have therapy in the morning and also getting a smaller portable catheter bag that I will wear around my leg. Still hoping I can get my appointment with urologist moved up so I can get this thing out.I’ve showed all my nurses our JVD video and now they all want to go there. -

Feeling pretty good now after my IV of Toradol. That stuff is amazing better than Oxycodone. -
Yeah I am worried. Miami playing grestChiefs not do great. It will depend on if the KC receivers can get their act together. Tyrek will hard to stop because he’s a speedster. I just hope it’s a good game. Will be interesting to see what kind of energy they have as the Dolphins have been in Germany all week whereas KC flew out on Thursday.

Football kinda day. Had a good PT session walked, rom tech bike. Stairs and bending got up to 77 degrees. I was really sore afterwards and in some good pain. Took pain meds and watched Mizzou. What a heartbreaker. I did sleep on and off but saw the main plays. Now watching KU and going to have a light dinner before another walk this evening. Couldn’t be happier with the staff here at KC Orthopedic Alliance.

When we went through town on the bus to Buccaneer Beach resort, there wasn’t hardly anything. I don’t even see that many stores. Just a few restaurants/bars. -

Thanks I forgot about that. We went to St. Croix for the first time after Maria so I wasn’t sure what was all there. Our first time was a catamaran sailing where the boat met us at the pier so we never saw the port or downtown area. -

St. Croix does not have much of a port area or downtown for shopping, food etc. that’s why we booked a beach excursion at Buccaneer Beach Resort. -

For St. Thomas we went Secret Sands Beach. It was a Royal excursion but limited to small group. Secluded and clear water and great sand. St. Croix we did the Buccaneer Beach Resort. It was also a Royal excursion. Beautiful place and we enjoyed it very much. I gave pics and our day in this review. It was on day 4. -
I’m official now! I have on my official shirt. Already got a couple of nurses wanting to go to CC and check it out. Very nice single room with mirrored glass inset tv. I guess I’ll watch college football games today. The bad news. The internal medicine doctor will not take the catheter out so I’m stuck weAring it until I see my urologist on the 12th. He says my prostate became so enlarged that they could not put the catheter in so they had to put in endoscopy to get catheters in. So they don’t want to remove it just to find out they have put it back in. It feels uncomfortable but the good news is that I don’t have to get up to go to the bathroom. Oh well I guess I have to deal with it. Had therapy this morning where we walked, pedaled bike and then some range of motion stretches and measurements. My. bend is at 68 degrees. I need time be at 120 degrees or more. Later I need a short nap now.
