  1. I don't think that plan will work, you are insuring a credit, which has no cash value per se.  I had an Allegiant flight too and I waited for them to change my fight time, which they did last night, so I was able to get a cash refund.  Maybe take a quick weekend trip somewhere this fall.

I know there are lots of people still waiting for their OBC for cancelled cruises to show up in their new bookings.  For those that have gotten theirs, did you have luck getting someone to take care of it through customer service when your PVP couldn't seem to get it done?

I did mine today. Just called in and was on hold less than 5 mins. Rep who answered put me on hold and called someone else to "release my funds" and then transferred them to my new booking I had a hold on. When I log into my cruise manager the obc doesn't show up but when I pretend to print my documents out my correct obc shows up on the second page of the booking summary at the bottom under the itemized charges box. I would try to print yours and see if it's there.

Thought I read last week there was a fire in one of the cabins they were working on. Was put out rather quickly I believe.  So they must be doing some work on the ship I would think.

I read about the fire too.  Sounds like as of April 1st the shipyard was still open.

My PVP told me everyone on the booking needs to be on the new cruise to get the FCC and OBC.  I wanted to rebook minus one person in the cabin and she said then I would need to take the refund

I am thinking about doing the opposite.  Was supposed to be me and hubby but now want to take our son. When I called they claimed I could use the fcc to pay for all 3 of us but I wondering if that's really true.

  5. I personally love Conquest class ships. They aren't super packed so finding seats at the comedy shows and piano bar is easy. They also have a sports bar which I liked. I also love the huge red frog pub on the Valor. The Alchemy is near the piano bar so it's not as packed as when its located in the ocean plaza.   They also have a few extra lounges so they can have karaoke going on at the same time as comedy etc.  One draw back tho is those ships do not have a Cucina or Jiji's etc, just bbq, seafood shack, sushi and steakhouse.

For the surf and turf entree, both the lobster and filet are smaller sizes than the separate lobster entree and filet cut.  It might be just 5 oz each on the surf and turf rather than the 8 or 9 oz portion of the individual entree selection.

But for an additional $38, Carnival would probably serve the OP a Wagyu cut.  Everyone's tastes are different, but I didn't think much of the Wagyu and strongly prefer the filet mignon.

I second about the Wagyu.  Husband ordered it and I didn't care for it at all. Was glad I stuck with the filet.

Hello! I am trying to make a teppanyaki reservation for my september 27 voyage on the Horizon...does anyone know the email to make a reservation? It's now showing on the specialty dining options. I called but the lady I spoke with couldn't help me nor tell me if it was booked.

If it's showing in your cruise manager you shouldn't need to email.  Just select it in the manager and make the reservation.
