Elegant night is day 2.

My husband had to get stitches once in Playa del Carmen. Before hospital would take him they put a $2000 hold on our credit card. Ended up being $1600 for 16 stitches. Then when we returned we filed our travel insurance claim. So even with travel insurance be prepared to pay out of pocket and reimbursed later.

Is the $119 you refer to a day? Or for the whole cruise? Carnival is only $51.95 per day when including tax and gratuities around $61 a day. Not sure where you are getting $119. Typically, the same as RCI, on Carnival you need to drink 4 drinks a day to break even. And it includes drinks valued at $20 or less. You must wait five minutes between drink purchases and have a 15 drink limit per day.
It's an Australian cruise and that is the correct price per person. It's crazy it's that expensive.

You should be able to book and leave the 2nd person TBD for a while.

They will watch younger kids during night owls which starts at 10pm. You can bring pre packaged snacks, we always bring goldfish, peanut butter crackers etc. You can also take them off the ship at ports. I brought an umbrella stroller and would push him around in the evening and he would fall asleep while we watch karaoke or hang out. Bring any children's meds you may need. Also, just incase you haven't heard and are prepared...there are no swim diapers in any pools or the splash area.

A wine corkage fee has nothing to do with them physically opening the bottle. It is a fee an establishment charges you for bringing in your own wine.

Diamond and platinum, then fttf, then early flights. At least that's how it was on the Valor recently. We were all in the same room so it was maybe a few minutes in between.

OP here. I did call and get my rate changed to the lower rate and then once more before my sailing.

Thank you. So I sent in a price protection form. Wow, I don't know what they did. My current rate was $659 with no OBC, the new rate I asked for was $599, they changed it to $669 with $50 obc.. Im so confused, LOL. I don't even see any rates offering OBC right now, so I have no idea where that came from. Plus they increased my rate instead of decreasing it. I am going to send in another form to see what happens, then if it is still wrong, I will call tomorrow..
Always call. The person can price match instantly and you will know exactly what's going on before you have it changed.

If you miss your ship in a non U.S. port without a passport, it will be expensive and perhaps take days to get an emergency passport from the embassy in that country. Without that emergency passport you will not be able to travel back to the U.S. or your next Port of Call.
If you miss the ship Carnival will retrieve your passport from your safe and leave it at the dock for you.

Were you in a room that held more people? I would have your TA call and see what they can do. I'd hate to have to move rooms on a b2b, not to mention losing mid ship which you prob paid more for.

No payment plans for Cheers. You have to pay the entire amount for all adults at the time of purchase.

You could also just login and do it online now.

From my experience there is a wide range talent wise in the piano players that Carnival uses on their ships. On some cruises the piano bar is packed every night while other cruises the piano bar never gets crowded.
Several years ago we were walking by the piano bar on Magic around 8 PM. It was already crowded even though the piano bar wasn’t officially open until 9 PM. I told my wife either my watch is wrong or the piano player must be really good. Turns out the piano player (Patrick Duffy) was outstanding. He is still the only piano player I would book a cruise he is on just to listen to him play.
I loved Partick! Just had him on the Valor in October.

What's really a bummer is waiting in a huge line for a comedy show and then not being able to get in bc it's full and some people think the 18+ rule doesn't apply to them or their kid.

I could see the 17 year old not being allowed in the dance club and comedy club for 18+ shows. They do sometimes scan cards to verify age. And with a group of that many young people my guess is they will.

Haven't been on that ship but I would guess it's more like a sushi counter or window. However, I've had a great experience with sushi on every Carnival ship I've been on. It's a nice break between burgers and a buffet.

Does anyone know if Carnival has a record of exactly who opens your cabin door and when? Does the lock store that info? Same goes for the safe?

It does. For whatever reason it isn't listed on the "what's happening". It's in the inside under movies.
