Cant tell you the cost but bubbles only covers soda and juice (not freshed squeezed).

I would call. I always get my info together and talk to someone and they take care of it and email me a new confirmation.

I'd like to piggyback off this post. Also wondering with a 10am debark what time do you have to be out of your cabin?

Oh really? Thank you! Should/Can I do the same for the teen that will have the card for our room but staying in the other?
Yep, just get them an extra card to open their correct door. Their original card will still be their main card to swipe for purchases and get on/off the ship. The extra will just open the correct door.

Guest services can make you extra cards that open the other cabin.

Just pour a glass and take it to be safe. The corkage fee isn't for opening the bottle so they could charge you if you bring a bottle even if you already opened it.

Based on my old schedule there was one day they had family bingo hour when parents had to stay and a family scavenger hunt other than that all you will be able to use is night owls starting at 10pm. There is also a build a bear event you could do, and Dr Seuss events (brunch, storytime and parade). I would bring an umbrella stroller and also any prepackaged snacks your kid may want. We also bring cheap beach toys we can pitch when we're done. Also bring any child meds you may need just incase.

We have cruised with FTTF previously and arrived as early to the port as possible.
Received an email this evening about the boarding appointments being delayed by an hour due to having to enter the ship using a ground level gangway.
Our original appointment (which I was going to ignore due to FTTF) was 12:30 and now they are saying 1:30PM.
I believe we can ignore that and go to the port earlier (depending on when Pride is back and ready for passengers) since we have FTTF?
Hoping someone can confirm that has been through the same circumstances.
Thanks!
This happened to me once but for a different reason. I showed up at my regular early time and waited. Ended up waiting for hours. Bright side was we had seats bc we beat the crowds. Some people waited outside in the heat for hours after terminal was full.

Bumping this as
Are you talking in general or specifically for Port Everglades?
That's my general strategy. It's worked in Everglades, Canaveral, NOLA and Miami. Only once in Miami was boarding delayed but the sailing before us was a private charter and it was chaos.

I'm on the Mardi Gras Nov 14th first sailing, which I wasn't expecting when I booked. Can anyone share with me their experiences on a Carnival inaugural sailing? Are there special events? Were there things not open yet? Thanks for any info. I'm a bit worried some things won't be operational like the Bolt. Or the staff won't be totally trained like the Panarama cheers non alcoholic thread a few weeks back.

I went to price check my nov 14 sailing after all this and it isn't available anymore. Did it sell out that quick after the announcement or I wonder if they aren't selling any right now just incase they move back another week.

I'm booked on the Nov 14th cruise. Part of me is happy to still being going but I've never done an inaugural sailing. Now I'm worried everything won't be complete and running smoothly.

I shoot for arriving around 10:30. Most of the time they are calling fttf and I walk right on.

I've seen it open up over a year out (Horizon) and also stalked it and finally gotten it a few months out.

All bars have bottled water. The coffee shop should have all the other included beverages...rockstars, sports drinks, iced tea etc.
-
The gratuities charged daily have nothing to do with the gratuities charged on drinks. Two totally separate people being tipping.
-
I choose twice daily and I feel like the am is the "cleaning" and the pm is more clean towels, towel babies etc

I would think if your kid is ordering food you are paying.

Didn't have any on Valor last cruise. Had corn horn, beer pong etc during the day and band at night. Best set up for Red Frog on any ship I've been on tho.

I'm not sure about outlets but the library is pretty quiet. Also the piano bar is closed during the day and quiet. I also feel like the dance club was unlocked during the day and should be empty.

In using a credit or debit card linked to my on board account for expenses, is there a certain amount that must be available (or held) for a 7 night cruise?
It's on their website. I wouldn't use a debit card tho bc instead of the hold falling off quickly like a cc the bank will leave the hold on much longer and then deduct the amount owed in a separate charge. Basically having double the amount tied up.

Oh wow, that’s shocking, I figure it would have been treated as gambling. I bet my 15 year old would love to play.
I double checked the funtimes, no mention of a minimum age.

Do you not have to be of certain age to play bingo?
No. We played with our son and won. He went up with my husband to collect the prize. Unfortunately part of the prize was an excursion he was too young for.

The bottled water they sell while getting off at ports is my guess.

Is Breakfast served at JiJi and Cucina Del Capitano
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Lunch is free in both. I haven't noticed breakfast at either but could be. I read they are testing breakfast at Guys on a ship. Blue Iguna has breakfast.
