I haven't done this excursion but did a lot of "bottom" fishing. I would go for it, I am sure you will catch a few! I wouldn't expect any Marlin/sailfish etc, but a nice variety of local fish. If eating some is allowed on the boat I would definitely do it!

Are the cabins smaller as you go up? Looks to be a sofa on 6? and we stayed on 7 multiple times on the Vista and Horizon and no sofa but looked to be one in 6501 on the Venezia. Thanks.

We are doing a 2nd cruise on Venezia, 11 day in a few months, this is to get to Platinum. After that it is nothing but Havana Area on the Vista/Horizon for us + Alaska ships We did have another 11 day booked on the Venezia for later this year but switched it for the 8 Day Havana area.

My wife bring our own sheets & pillow cases, Steward always says great idea and they (and us) love the smell of Downy most of the week!

If your carry on is small, Stop have lunch, go have a cocktail, head to your cabin, it'll be around 1:30!

September we did a Cabana for the group, this time it is just my wife & I. Looking for a quiet day with maybe an excursion. Mid to late morning got quite busy on the beach out in front of the Cabana as we were down next to the last/far one. People coming up on the Cabana to help them selves, I turned into a traffic cop in a nice way. Looking to relax a bit more away from the crowds. Thanks for your thoughts.

Been through there many times on my way to JFK and other meetings in and around NYC as well as travelled around every major city in the world on there "public" Transporation. Basically it is treat others as you want to be treated. Don't be ignorant!

We did an 8 day in September and saw the same, it was bad, We have two 11 days booked for 2024 on her and was hoping the longer cruise changed some of that But I guess it doesn't. Only good part we are in the Terraza so we can stay out of General Population for most of the time. I will find a Havana cruise for the 2nd 11 day to switch out.

I just bought bar cash and cruise cash with the egift card (10% savings) based on the amount we usually spend, wife can't drink so we don't get the cheers. Paid for the tips as well with an egift card to save a few more dollars. Just advising as an option for those trying to save a few bucks.

Definitely goes to 7 as we usually get that aft Cabin on 7
