  1. Thanks! Good to know they’re strict on age. It makes sense of course. Maybe I’ll let them bring the switches. I normally don’t let those leave the house so they don’t get broken
  2. My 19 yr old would not be mortified to play video games with his brother
  3. Hi all, for the teen club, do we need to go and register our son for it? And what are the age limits for it? We have 13, 18, and 19 yr olds. Could my 19 yr old go with his brother to play video games? What other activities do they have?
  4. That would be awesome, thank you! I’m so curious after this discussion!
  5. I'm not sure which ship has which, but the suite description for each ship should tell you. The pictures do look bigger than a typical queen as some have stated, so I'm hoping that's true. We sleep on a king at home and I have a shoulder issue which requires me to build an entire pillow fort to take pressure off my shoulder LOL.
  6. It depends on the ship. On the Eurodam, the SS suites have a Queen, not a King. On other ships, it's a King.
  7. Now I want someone to measure them 😂
  8. On Eurodam, they have a queen that can be split into two "twins". Which likely means they aren't actually twin beds, but smaller, and by a lot. But that was the crux of my question - two twins = king, but Eurodam says two twins = queen and only Neptune suites have a King.
  9. We are on the Eurodam this summer and am curious how a queen can be split into two twins. Normally a king converts to to twins, so are these "twin" beds extra tiny?
  10. Thanks. There isn't anything for 6034 on HALfacts site.
  11. Hi all, We are booked on Eurodam for Alaska this summer. There are 5 of us. 3 of us have a Signature Suite and the other 2 have an inside room. Originally I had them in 6015 (which by all accounts, as a "standard" inside, is super tiny). When we upgraded our other room to a suite, I wanted to move their cabin to be closer to ours and moved them to 6034 (on the same side as our suite, and closer to our midship location though not by a lot). There was only a $20 price difference. I noticed that this K cabin is called a large interior vs. the standard interior L cabin they were in before. But I can't find any pictures of this cabin, nor any firm info on the actual size of it. It seems like it's not actually bigger than the old cabin, but it would be great if it is. Anyone know? Bonus points for pictures LOL. It would be great if this one had a sofa vs the other that I don't think had a sofa, only a chair.
  12. Thanks. I would preorder them on my account. I assume we’d then get them at boarding.
  13. I’m considering buying them for my kids. Is it an actual card you get when you come on board, or is it kind of like a deposit in your cruise account? I’m hoping for a physical card since that would be easy for my kids to keep track (especially the youngest, I’m not too worried about the 18 or 19 yr old)
  14. That is good news! Hopefully this season goes well with the alternate arrangements.
  15. Our family will use the app, but with cabin phones and perhaps agreeing to meet for lunch/dinner and deciding on schedule, it should be fine.
  16. If it will ruin your trip to not do Skagway, I’d probably cancel and look for a smaller ship that will dock there in one of the unaffected slots. Your ship will probably go there, but there’s a chance it won’t. I canceled a cruise because of this - not because Skagway was that important, but it would have added an extra sea day if they just skipped it and the itinerary already had a lot of sea days. I booked a cruise that went to different ports with only one full sea day instead.
  17. Why would they expect that? They've already been paid for the no show and they wouldn't be getting a refund. I would think this would only come into play if the person not coming was getting a refund somehow.
  18. Sorry, yes the suspension bridge. Whoops!
  19. I'm seriously considering booking the snorkeling by myself and meeting up w my family later. They probably wouldn't mind...
  20. There is a railroad/bus tour that also includes the rope bridge. The kids might enjoy the rope bridge. How adventurous are you? There could be a cold water snorkeling trip. I really wanted to do it (we are going to Sitka, and they have, but maybe other ports do too?) but can't sell my family on it yet LOL.
  21. So, I did look into two balconies, but that was more expensive than a suite and an interior, and I still didn't like the setup of the verandah with the couch in use blocking the balcony. I went ahead, today, and booked a suite for the 3 of us, and left the inside the way it was. I may look for an upsell offer on the inside later, but I'm OK with them staying where they currently are. Our suite is now midship too, which will help with my youngest son's sea sickness. I had thought he was getting better, but he did have some car sickness on a bus tour in Ireland this month. Luckily Bonine seemed to work very well for him, so we'll be stocked up on that for the cruise. It was $1970 more for the suite, but we did get $225 more in OBC from our TA, so that's nice.
  22. I believe you’re right. Neptune suites have coffee machines and all suites have binoculars (or at least signature and Neptune, not sure about vista as they aren’t on our ship)
