  1. Unfortunately this is a problem I have never encountered.
  2. So over 20 years ago I decided to scatter some of my mother's ashes on a cruise. Last night at sea I had them in a ziploc baggie and went on the back deck and let em go. So about 2 tablespoons worth of loose ashes flying thru the air in the dark. Yeah....it was very windy and some of them blew back. 1st and last time I did that.
  3. I would LOVE to join the Single Ladies on the Beyond cruise - Nov 8th is my Bday! But...I'm doing Reflection for Thanksgiving week and I only get so much PTO (and $). I received a crap-ton of OBC on my booking so I booked Murano and Tuscan. Haven't done them in years so looking forward to it. My last 6 cruises have been in either Aqua or a Suite so I never felt the need to do the special ones. So GenX, what are the best options at these 2 (excluding the $20 steak).
  4. Hey Gorgeous! I received so many compliments on my Globe dress on Edge in March. One lady stopped me as I walked by the pool then 5 minutes later came back and said, "It will be at my house Thursday". LOL!!! I'm doing Reflection in November in Aqua. They haven't Edgified the top deck for suites yet so I didn't want to pay extra just for Luminae and Retreat Lounge. However, its going into dry dock for a few days and no one seems to know renos will be happening. See if you hear anything.
  5. I had a cruise booked then changed it to a completely different one. It updated the dates but not the ship or itinerary. I waited a few hours and finally deleted the app and reloaded. It was fine after that. Also, before reloading it would not show me full menus - just the drinks and desserts. Maybe they did some updates or something.
  6. I hang my swim suit out to dry but I use the towel clips to make sure nothing blows away. And other clothes after getting caught in the rain on a long bike ride. Again, those clips come in handy.
  7. I'm sailing on the Nov 20th sailing right after the Bliss cruise. I'm sure the staff will be pleased to have everyone fully clothed again. Shudder. Do you know why people go on Bliss cruises? Its the only way they can get people to look at them when they are naked! So dry dock in October doesn't sound like they plan to create a Retreat deck. In that case I'll save $1400 and book aqua class. The only retreat perks would be Michael's club and Luminae. One of the Edge ships depart the same day so it will be using the good terminal so no Retreat boarding lounge either.
  8. There's a transatlantic sailing Oct 31st. I believe dry dock is January.
  9. I'm debating between a suite and Aqua class. Is the lounge Michael's or has it been converted to the Retreat Lounge? And I'm thinking there is not retreat deck either. That's going to be the deciding factors.
  10. I just received this email for my March 20th cruise: "Beginning with sailings departing on or after March 18, 2022, guests who have recently recovered from COVID-19 may present a Certificate of Recovery and proof of the positive PCR test result taken between 11-90 days prior to the sail date for boarding. We will not accept a Certificate of Recovery in place of a vaccination record. All guests eligible to be vaccinated must continue to show proof of full vaccination. Additionally, please be aware that some ports of call do not accept a Certificate of Recovery for the purposes of debarking and enjoying the destination. For more details on Certificate of Recovery requirements, please visit our Healthy at Sea FAQs on our website at celebritycruises.com/healthy-at-sea/faqs." What exactly is a certificate of recovery? And NO, the FAQ does not address this further. I tested positive for covid on Feb 14th (vaxed and boosted). Now what? Is this just for the unvaxed??
