  1. I was able to get back the Behind the Scenes and the excursion I wanted - at the lower price. If something shows sold out just keep checking back.
  2. Are you able to make reservations for Porch, LCG or Sushi via the app once onboard?
  3. I just cancelled my behind the scenes tour and an excursion I really wanted - tried to rebook and they were both sold out. UGH!!!!!
  4. Yes FB. Type the name of your ship and date.
  5. Cranston is the best! He was always singing. I would love to see him on Silhouette at the end of the month.
  6. Yeah, I just don't want to spend the next 3 hours listening to their hold music. UGH.
  7. IF and that's a big IF, you get the double points. I wasn't aware of that rule until just recently a I went back and realized I did NOT receive double points for several bookings. I sent an email to the CC over a month ago and (spoiler alert)....crickets. I'm going to bring this up with the Retreat Concierge on my next cruise.
  8. I disembarked from terminal 29 yesterday around 930 and it took almost an hour to get an Uber. Tried using Uber and Lyft apps and they would spin for at least 2 minutes and then come back "no drivers available". I've never seen that happen there before but our ship was at 90% capacity and that terminal is away from the others. And it started raining so traffic was really bad.
  9. We arrived to pier 29 on the 20th in pouring rain. A lot of people said their clothes were wet when their bags arrived. We disembarked on the 27th around 9:30. We were in a suite and were hanging out in Michael's club but I think we waited too long. After more than 6 attempts to get an Uber or Lyft we were finally picked up close to 10:30. The car apps would just spin for at least 2 minutes and then come back and say "no drivers are available". I've never had that issue before. The captain said Reflection was sailing at 90% occupancy. The post covid crowds are back in full force.
  10. There won't be near as many kids on Celebrity as a Royal or NCL cruise. I've done Thanksgiving week for many years on Celebrity and see less than 20 kids the entire week.
  11. Don't forget about Daylight Savings if you are cruising between November and March. The rest of the world doesn't do it. Probably because it's stupid. You cannot change my mind.
  12. I just tried to pull it up for my cruise in 9 days and my whole reservation is missing from both the app and the website. No room service menu listed for my sailing in December. They need to get their poop in a group.
  13. Are there many options on the TV? On Edge there were dozens of new movies available and then a few months prior on Equinox there was practically nothing. Just wondering if I should try taking a fire stick or not. And yes I know I'm on a cruise and watching TV isn't a priority, blah blah blah. Don't judge me.
  14. Hi Charla! We met on Equinox a few cruises back. I'm glad to see you are having a great time! I wore the globe dress on Edge in March and got so many compliments. One day several of the crew decided to show me where they were from and I was poked in several places, LOL! I was walking past a lady on the Retreat deck and she asked where I got it. I saw her 10 minutes later and she said, "It will be delivered to my house on Tuesday!". So yeah, your dream of seeing several people wearing the dress is slowly coming true. I'm so looking forward to seeing your Gatsby dress, you have such great taste! What is your opinion on the Infinite veranda after having balconies in the past?
  15. The one I did wasn't free - I want to say $25 to enter but I could be wrong.
  16. Pre Covid on Equinox I got invited to the "Officer's lunch" on the last sea day. It was held in Blu and afterwards we were given a tour of the bridge. That tunnel like section that sticks out on the side of the ship has a plexiglass window on the floor and you could see down into the ocean. We had a pod of dolphins racing our ship at the time, it was beautiful. I signed up for this on Silhouette and am looking forward to it.
  17. I played this last year and it was fun. I was in the last round and ended up winning first place. I received a trophy and I "think" $250 casino credit. I don't really remember. I would have preferred the cash but ok.
