Nope. I get this, which isn't even a correct sentence: "All documents will be available as soon as all the check-in steps will be completed for all passengers" What if she can't get past the picture portion? It only took me 88 tries before it finally took a picture that it accepted. Why the app doesn't let you press a button to take a picture is stupid. I kept getting "rotate face" or "Look directly into the camera" before getting bounced out again.

Trying to get the app to take my picture for check-in requires a level of patience that surpasses most saints. It finally took after I went to the website and it looks like a selfie taken by a drunk 2 yr old while riding a horse. My travel companion has not yet checked in but I'm guessing I can access the luggage tags after that step?

I had a passport issue while flying from DC to Paris. I had just renewed my passport and I presented it to the agent upon check-in. He practically threw it back at me and stated that it was NOT a valid passport. ??? (Snooty tone with an accent) "This is not a valid passport. It isn't signed!". I took it, signed it right in front of him and then passed it back. Then he accepted it. Customer service skills were lacking that day.

I have been during Thanksgiving cruises since 2016 and cannot believe I still haven't met you guys! I'm doing MSC this year for the 1st time.

I usually sail during Thanksgiving and do not remember them doing anything special in the dining room. The last time I saw that was several years ago and everyone that ordered the "Turkey Dinner" was very disappointed. Just remember it is the Chef's version of Thanksgiving and is usually not what we expect. Kind of like going to a Chinese restaurant and ordering pizza.

In 1987 our marching band took a trip to Niagara Falls and we stayed in the Honeymoon Hotel! 4 to a room so it wasn't very romantic. We rented the entire hotel and since everyone woke up at same time you had to get up an hour earlier if you wanted a hot shower. Also there was "porn" on the TV - mostly topless women but 15 year old boys can't be choosy. And remember this was way before the internet and access to anything 24/7.

@daybrake I've booked excursions thru the shipmate app or other cruise sites. They are always smaller groups for around the same price.

@daybrake So I haven't received a cancellation but yesterday it was not on the list of excursions. I checked today at 9am and it was there and now gone again at 11. Weird. I was checking to see if the price was lower with the current sale.

@daybrake Maybe because its a holiday the vendor said, "yeah...we're not working that day now". Who knows. Mine is still showing booked. If they cancel I'll just stay on the ship. No big deal.

There doesn't seem to be many posts about this ship, why is that? Following because I'm booked for November, 1st MSC.

I'm having an issue trying to transfer to an agent now. My online agency wasn't booking this particular sailing so I booked via MSC website. I filled out the form they require to transfer but it was rejected because "you didn't supply a proper phone number nor do you have the number that MSC assigned to the agency". Um....it's an online agency and I gave the only number I have 1-800-the number. I have replied to the agent that sent me the form but haven't heard back. I'll have to sit on the phone tonight to resolve I guess.

This is a little judgmental. Back when I was working out an hour or more every day I could eat 2 entrees plus 2 desserts. And I was a size 4 at the time (5'8" 130 lbs). Some people live more active lifestyles that burn a lot of calories. I only have an issue with extra entrees if they are being wasted.

I have made it a rule to only book cabins that are below another cabin and just hope dinosaurs do not occupy the room above for that sailing.

It doesn't have the same smell anymore. The old smell was very distinctive and the new stuff just smells like a skunk. In fact, the last time I smelled the original smell was probably in the 90s. I'm not exposed to a lot of weed smell but you know it when you smell it.

They are pricing me out of the market. I booked the Retreat on Ascent for December 17 while I was onboard last November. Since then the prices have gone up 42%. The Retreat pricing is outrageous and now they are taking away butlers? I have 1 out of 4 future cruises booked with X and it will most likely be my last.

Thank you for the research! Based on this I'm keeping my booking for December on Connie. Normally I stay on the ship in Cozumel but since it is lacking the Retreat deck I figured I'd do something new and this being a smaller group is perfect.

I just booked for Thanksgiving and Christmas next year!
