I think that’s a bit of a stretch. Average highs in Juneau in the summer months are only in the 60s. I sailed to AK over Labor Day previously and the pools were getting very minimal use.

My experience has been you can also order a la carte, for up to the stated $35 value. Honestly the one small, two large and dessert was too much food so I preferred going the a la carte route. This is especially useful if you go at lunch, when you presumably are looking for something a little smaller.

Regarding the above chatter on Italian restaurants, I’d actually take Jamie’s over the new Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen. The latter is some sort of overly dumbed down American version of Italian. It is not very good.

If price wasn't a consideration, I'd easily choose Wonder. Allure hasn't been amped. And Wonder is the newest Oasis class ship and even has a number of new venues and restaurants not found on Harmony. Wonder is fantastic.

United looks to have one non-stop a day IAD-MIA. AA from DCA has 10 non-stops a day to MIA. Absolutely no reason to connect to Spirit to fly to Miami from the DMV. That would be absurd.

Having sailed in multiple balconies on both Royal and NCL, the standard balcony on Royal (at least here talking Oasis class) is by far roomier than on NCL which can feel a little cramped. Balconies bigger too.

What is your rationale for not participating? And how do you ensure all the different types of employees that benefit from automatic gratuities are compensated by you as they would have been but for your removal?

What I've noticed generally at Boleros across ships (and even classes) is they consistently have the *slowest* bar service of anywhere on the ship. Regarding Wonder recently, this held true. While I didn't see this at Boleros on Wonder, I did notice some odd behavior by one person in particular multiple nights at Schooner. The same woman, each time around Midnight, would roll up with a toddler in something like a wagon? So bigger than a stroller, but to pull the child around in. Anyways, she would proceed to leave the wagon near a seat, head up to the bar, order martinis and come back to the young child. Seemed pretty late to be out at 2-3 years old I'm guessing.
