I like them both ..... if you are on the side with the Mini Golf is better then the basketball court. If you bid the min you have a 99% chance of not getting it and 95 % not getting it with strong bid. Not many available if any so do not get your hope up. Sports court is the most noisiest side.

No it's slightly different. There are some standard "classic" dishes that are the same but CK does have Filet Mignon n the first night and MDR has NY strip. You can get a Filet in the MDR but its an upcharge

yes on non-oasis / quantum class ships we always get the UDP since there is no CK. However, there have been a ship or two (Liberty comes to mind) where they would not seat us for lunch on Embarkation.

Booked our first Celebrity cruise on Beyond in a Sky Suite. Have only booked RC suite so we are looking forward to seeing the difference on suite dinning between the two. Loved the Coastal Kitchen on the Quantum class more so then the Oasis class. We will be elite on Celebrity when we cruise, however will there be any benefit if we are in a SS?

or you go in and look around and say "is this the suite lounge?' then walk out

if you are diamond and in a suite you have access to both lounges (which she is )

you just run the risk of sold out cabins, especially if you want certain types.

We had a female pilot (trainee) on a lifeboat tender on our Alaskan port stop...on the tender back she slammed into Quantum pretty hard and and the guy had to take over to dock... just saying 😉

completely agree on the split with CK and SL, and the 1100-2300 bar would have made it perfect... that's why the next two Royal cruises booked are on Harmony and Allure

This bring up a point I've not thought much about. The SL concierge? are they in any part of the suite gratuities? I generally tip the concierge if I have they do anything specific and only a few time not tip of I really had no interaction with them. That being said what I have asked from them is typically what is listed as a part of the suite amenities. i.e. on our last cruise Romana (sp?) on Quantum was the best concierge we have ever had.

Been like that for a while. Once past final payment date no adjustment. Now there are trying to discount the remaining rooms to get the ship full.
