  1. Isn't that every public traded company's priority. I worked for one for 30+ years the don't think they are any different than the rest.
  2. We just got off Navigator last Friday and we had two a day service.
  3. We also did it through the RCCL web site if you are registered.
  4. We did it through our TA. We bought the credit, then gave the reservation number to the TA and advised her we wanted to transfer it and she took care of it.
  5. When you see that the levle of post on this site for most cruises is well below what it was pre covid I don't think you would get the required number for a M&M. We really enjoyed them but do think for the time being you will need to organized sail away's and M&M's on our own.
  6. Also interesting to hear the cruise director come over the loudspeaker about a half hour before sail away and give the number of people who have not checked in and that the ship can not sail until everyone has checked in.
  7. We have sailed Liberty four times out of Galveston and really like this ship and the size. The crew, staff and entertainment was great and we would sail her any time. We spent many nights in the Pub with the singer and cruisemates. Happy cruising and enjoy.
  8. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and your families.
  9. You know she is good when some of the other talent on the ship comes to her shows, we had that happen severl times.
  10. If your sailing after Nov. 28 we highly recommend the Pub. We were on Independence last Aug. and the signer, Darla Fox was in the pub. She happens to live near us in southern California and she was great. We usually love the Pub singers and she was the best. We ended up going there every night and when we heard she was going to be back on Navigator after August we booked a short trip. We have done all the big shows and ice shows many times, like them but a good singer in the Pub or Scooner Bar is a really fun time.
  11. I thank that Celebrity is, in most cases a little higher price for similar cabins, so you might expect the food to be a little better.
  12. We have been in the Ba,boo Room in several occasions and it is not loud. We really like this bar, since it is new it has never been busy when we were thre.
  13. We sailed Liberty severl times out of Galveston and love the ship. No a larger class but still nice. Great Kid's club area and enjoyed the on board intertainment. We really liked the nightly Pud music and went there most nights.
  14. We did this also. Since things can change a TA friend of ours suggested we purchase all of them in our name and then you can transfer them to someone else. That way if something happens you always have the FCC for yourselft if something happens and your guest can't go. you could always keep the FCC for your own use. Works great. A reminder you only get the discount if you reserver within two months of the date of the FCC purchase on the ship.
  15. Yes, if you have enought credits you can dine with a ships officer but no more Captains Table on on of the ships we have sailed on in the last few years.
  16. We thought of another one. We are also D+ and will be on the 12/5 cruise. This has more to do with transportation. If you are driving and getting in early due to your status, park on the outside rows in the parking lot and consider exit traffic. Lots of locals on this ship and they all park as close as possible on arrival. However on departure they all leave at the same time and the drive out can be a challenge. A small walk on the enbarcation day can save you a lot of car time on the debarcation day.
  17. You don't have to ask but if you want to save your drinks for higher priced evening drinks and not use one for a beer in the afternoon you can tell the bartender at the time you order not to credit it against you comp drinks and instead pay for it and save a few bucks if you are going to go over the allowed limit.
  18. We would agree with others. We have been on almost every class and our first cruise on Oasis we worried about the size and number of people. We have now sailed Allure a few times and we really like this class. I am always amazed at how they have organized the ship and all the areas that it actually feels smaller than some of the smaller classes. This is our favorite class.
  19. If your on Allure out of Galveston it should not be bad. That ship has a great Kids Club program that our daughter has used when ever we sail on Allure and most everyone parks the kids in the program for the day and so they spend most of the day in the Kids club program or in the seperate kids splash area pool.
  20. We still buy the package, kind of a push depending on what kind of drinks you have. We also buy the dinner package and like to have a bottle of wine and the discound is pretty good with the package. Even though it may not same much if any I also like not getting a bill at the end of the cruise and knowing I have already paid for everything when I get on the ship.
  21. We buy the package, It will ask for a perfered time for the first night usually 6 or 8. They hold the mid times up for full paying guest. Once you get on board go to any of the specialy resturants and tell them you want to make reservations and you have the package. They can call up your stateroom and you can change both the first night time and location and all others for the cruise. That is usually one of our first stops when we get on board, after the bar, and have usually not had any of our times or resturants confirmed. Depending on the ship might have to move your prefered time a half hour or so but it is not a problem.
  22. We have had a couple of these and we did not get the confirmation until a week or two be for sailing. The purpose of this program is to move people up and sell more popular lower cabins that are filling up. So they will wait until the last minute to see if the suite cabins actual book at full price before they move someone up at these discounts so they can sell the lower level cabin at full price. it is really a great strategy by Royal to max full paying passengers. Airlines use to do the same thing but without the bid process. If the cabin was full and first class was not they could move someone from couch to first class and make them happen, fill a seat that was going to be empty and they resell the coach seat. Good luck but it will be close to sailing before you get the notification.
  23. True but we have been to Ensenada four times ine last year and both of thest lines have docked in the same position. Its a very small harbor and while they could reverse we have not seen it, will be back in three weeks and will see what happens.
  24. Yeah I knew that was not the real name but could not remember it. I got the recipie on line from RCCL, one of the ingreaients was a limongrass liqueur from England that I could not find in the states and cost a lot to ship over. Used a sub and still good but not as good as when you are having it on a ship in the middle of the caribbean.
  25. When we were on Allure they showed it on the large screens at the stadium pool.
