Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We boarded the Allure of the Seas for an 8 night cruise. They had a special at the beginning of the cruise to press an entire laundry bag of clothes for a flat fee of about $18. We then had one dry clean item that was about $13.
  2. Does Royal do any type of status match with Hilton Honors?
  3. Youtube has tons of videos of all kinds of cabins. That may help. The ship is great. It's just the right size.
  4. My eDocs for Allure, Sept 3 are 20 pages with the tags on page 19.
  5. We board Allure on Saturday, September 3. It looks like you are having a great time. Thank you for the detailed information. It will help us in our planning.
  6. This may answer some questions. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2022/07/28/royal-caribbean-redeploys-cruise-ships-2023-2024-cruise-season-due-new-speed
  7. I will be staying in a cabin on the 12th deck almost opposite of this cabin. Can you give more details on the "hidden" wing?
  8. The app will have your terminal information. Look for the blue Welcome Aboard button, click that it displays port/terminal information.
  9. There is an entire PDF online that you can download and print. Your luggage tags are in that PDF. The PDF also contains RC's policies and guidelines. It's a good idea to have that with you if things go sideways. You will understand your rights and their obligations better.
  10. Then, what is the best way to book a cruise that could prevent a cabin change?
  11. We just booked the Allure to the Southern Caribbean for September. We chose the My Time Dinning and assume that we have to make the reservations when we board. You have given me the impression that the reservation times aren't that solid. Is that correct? Thanks in advance.
  12. That's risky. Miami traffic is awefull everyday, not just on work days. Factor in customs/immigration at the Port and TSA at FLL. Do you think they will be properly staffed for the holiday weekend?
