Thanks. That's strange since they allow beverage packages. Oh well, I was really looking forward to the wings.
You can still buy them..... 🙂

Freedom and Voyager class? The DL is up in the crown with great ocean views. I'm sure others have that too.
I know Anthem and Oasis the DL is down low deck, no windows on Oasis, and I remember maybe Anthem had a couple of windows viewing the life boats. Bad views.
We spent so much time in the DL on Adventure - it was the perfect get away, indoors, with great views!
Voyager has the D Lounge on Deck 5, in the old cigar bar, with lifeboats blocking the view. The Crown is where the suite lounge is located.

January 6 - Jewel to the ABCs.

My January Jewel cruise has only shore excursions on the three port days - nothing at all for the four sea days. I hope they start putting the sea day activities up soon.

They had the choc fountain out on brilliance in aug, lots of fresh fruit to dip in it. Yum yum
The Windjammer has the chocolate fountain usually once a week - but you have to ask when it's going to be.

Walker just posted this:
I’m back! Here’s Brian- he takes over on Saturday.
So this is his last cruise until he returns from vacay.

I don't do that at home either. However, my bathroom at home is quite a bit larger with places to hang those wet towels. 😄
I hang the towels I want to keep - and some stewards change them anyway. The ones on the floor (under the sink) are the ones I want changed. As for places to hang them, there are usually 4 hooks on the bathroom door, and we bring some of our own for in the room.

Semantics, but probably a different angle. They won't actively seek to reduce staffing per se (since room stewards come cheap). But just reduce the stress on having to hire them in the first place since they do get paid so little. When attrition happens they just won't seek to replace as many.
While I would like to think that they were actually putting their employees first, it's a tough one to believe.

Serious question, but who does this benefit?
It's not like the room stewards are just going to go to the crew bar and put their feet up the rest of the day. They're going to be kept busy somewhere on the ship.
Or does this mean they'll hire less stewards but give them more rooms to clean? That's my question as well.

Same here. Never had my carry on looked at, and I always have wine in it.
My biggest shock was a transatlantic out of Lauderdale. We were planning a land vacay after we arrived, and had a bottle of American rye for a friend we were going to visit.
I had it wrapped in bubble wrap, with a luggage tag on it, fully expecting to turn it in and get it back the last night. They didn't even notice. We kept it in the safe the entire voyage.

No the Tavern is on Deck 4 and the Champagne Bar and the Pub are on Deck 5.
The Champagne Bar is now the R Bar, right across from Guest Services.

Carry on. Ours are in a backpack and never got a second look.

I don't know why his facebook page is missing, I hope he gets it back. He said he's coming back to Mariner after his break, but I don't know when he leaves it.

We did not spend much time there, as it wasn't a comfortable space for us. However, it had people in it during open hours. It's the closest thing they have to a sports bar, from what we could see. Televisions, high tops and stools, and the bar.

I read review from by a person which sailed on that trial cruise on Symphony. He said no charge for extra plate (except for lobster tail which was much better than original one), but they do not bring the next one until you finish the first. Seems reasonable to me.
That makes sense.

We started on interior cabins, until we could afford ocean-view and then balconies. We've gone back to interior when the price was right to sneak in an affordable cruise.
As has been pointed out, you're all on the same ship. They are GREAT for sleeping because it's darker (bring a little battery-operated tea candle for the bathroom if you want).
Have a great cruise!

As soon as you see your cruise docs available on the app, you will find your luggage tags on the last page. I prefer to print mine, but you can always get them at the port.

Didn't realize the concept of "complementary" dining equaled "all you can shove down your gullet".
This is the part that confuses me. On lobster night, EVERY TIME, the waiter asks if we want more. Some are more pointed and practically beg us to take a second tail. When one person at the table accepts a second one, the waiter ALWAYS brings a plate with 3-4, asking if anyone else wants one. So there seem to be some very mixed signals here.

I've never had an issue with adjoining cabins. I've only had one or two problems with noisy neighbors, and neither of them had a connecting door.

It says 5 months.
It's been corrected. It originally said 5 weeks, which was really hoping was an error and not a quote.

Please make sure your balloons do not escape your room. They are deadly to sea life.

I am a bit concerned that the doctor, who apparently does not know the mother, named her in the article.

Did it last month on Jewel, same price and worth it to my sister and me, it was fascinating how everything works and the crew members were very engaging. Our tour took three hours, having to wait at times for the next area to be ready for us. They were still getting up to speed with the process I think.
It's not on the cruise planner for our January cruise. Do you remember when you booked yours?

I believe Jamaica does have birthright citizenship/jus soli.
As far as gaining it through your parent(s), I don't think it's necessarily limited to the mother. In some (even many) countries, it is, but I don't believe the US limits it to the mother...it could be the father. https://www.uscis.gov/citizenship/learn-about-citizenship/i-am-the-child-of-a-us-citizen
Correct. Thanks. But since the munchkin wasn't on Jamaican territory when it showed up, there should be no birthright there. I'm thinking the parents might be American because they are getting airlifted to Miami. Great job by the doctors on board!
Is there freezers on board where breast milk can be stored?

Breast milk packets are small.
How many does she anticipate needing to store?
