Yes, you will still get flowers in a suite. And as of last September you can bring flowers onboard...we did in Seattle.

What a great review of the GV! We had William on our September Peal cruise last year.....he is amazing!

We just got an email yesterday to upgrade to the Haven (Sail Sept 2-9) and we made a bid for it. So I did a mock booking and the category we bid for came back sold out. So once they send those emails out do they block some of the rooms, just wondering what our chances are.

I'm in the same boat. Offered an H1 ....but they are all sold out. And have been for months. Will be interesting.

Two years ago we bought the spa pass on the Jewel. Went once and it was sooo packed and we never went back. I don't think I will ever purchase a spa package again.

Or you can call room service again and ask them to please come and remove the tray of dishes. I would also give them a tip...but that is just the way I am.

For any cabin...I give a thank you note with cash inside. If I see the butler before I leave that morning I hand them the envelope directly. Otherwise I leave the thank you note/envelope on the table...I always put their name on the envelope. HTH

That was round trip... it's about 20 minutes from the airport. It was nice not to have to wait for the shuttle!

I take it you were happy with their service. I've been checking quite a few car/shuttle services and right now I'm late in booking. lol When you booked....did they hit your CC right away?

Thanks for these reviews. The shanghainess and I are on the jewel for the Sept 2 voyage to Alaska. It's our first cruise ever, and knowing the details around the shows and dining is super helpful.

We had Walter on the Jewel. The following year we were on the Pearl and Walter was there and took the time to visit with us. He really is special!

Aaahhhh Crossing fingers that Walter will be on our Jewel September cruise. He was so sweet. :)

Can the butler bring meals from specialty restaurants? I just finished a cruise and had a 3 night SDP but only used one because it was very difficult to book the early time we wanted with two kids under 3.

Yes, absolutely! On our last cruise we had our butler bring us a meal from Cagney's....we also had the 3 night SDP.

Wow...our final payment date is this friday the 5th. But we are paid in full. Will see if we receive this email. I've already purchased travel insurance the other day from trip insurance dot com.

Apple Pie ala mode and the great dropped wedding ring search at the table across from me came to a happy conclusion with ring found and applause all around.

Can you find out how much that canvas painting class is....said it's on a sea day. And only ten spots available.

My daughter (adult) had the "kids" room last year on the Pearl and said it was very comfortable. She had the egg crate topper added. hth

I just let my PCC know that I would be willing to switch to the GV for our September Alaska cruise. Right now we are five adults in the 2 bedroom Haven. I know it's a long shot but a girl can dream. :)
