  1. How much soda does she actually drink? If it's only a couple a day, and the rest of the time she's okay with juice and water, then I'd just suggest having her buy soda a la cart on board. It'd probably be like $10 a day for 3 sodas, and she can get some juices and water for free on the lido deck. As far as wifi goes, as people have said, it's not bound to any person. Your family will be able to connect 2 devices at once, and the devices can change. I suggest letting her have the wifi for one of those devices full time, and you and your husband can alternate the other wifi connection.
  2. If your work laptops are Windows 10 or 11, you should be able to share the internet connection from one of the laptops to other devices. I haven't tried this out yet on a cruise ship personally but I have heard from others that it worked for them. I have successfully used this in a hotel that limited devices to internet connections though. On Windows, just search "Mobile Hotspot" and you can set it up and see if it works.
  3. Sailing Venezia on Labor Day weekend, what pier does it leave out of? My hotel is 1.1 miles from the cruise port, I think we'll probably just walk it rather than do an uber.
  4. Thank you! That makes me feel better. I was about to book a specialty dining on the first elegant night.
  5. I grabbed the menus from here: https://freestyletravelers.com/blog/carnival-2024-mdr-menus I don't know if it's totally accurate, but they do look like captures. The two menus appear to be identical except the first elegant night has grilled jumbo shrimp and fish cake, and the second night has the lobster. It's why I'm asking, but if your experience is that the menus are different I'll go with that. Thank you.
  6. On a seven day cruise, you get two elegant nights. I looked up the menu online, are they the same menu except that the second one has lobster?
  7. I'm new to Princess, planning our first Princess cruise for summer 2025. On Carnival, I can apply the gift cards to my account, and at the end of the cruise, cash that money back from the casino (after a few plays). Is there a similar action available for Princess customers? If so, I'd love to prebuy a bunch of GC to bring on board and spend what I want, and just get cash back at the end of whatever I don't use.
  8. I was on the Panorama two weeks ago, we ate at Jiji's once. It was a fantastic meal, I couldn't decide between the pork belly and the duck so I asked if I could pay extra to get both and they let me get both with a $6 upcharge. Worth it IMO.
  9. If you are a sufficiently high status they will probably give you a free cruise. I got Caesars Diamond status (through a credit card status match, not through gambling). I then matched that to MGM Gold status. I submitted both of those player cards to Carnival and they sent me an email for a free cruise, inside cabin ($200 deposit, but I get $200 OBC). A few days later, they sent me another email for a free cruise, balcony cabin (same prices). I booked both of them so I effectively got two free cruises for playing the status match game. This was done April/May of this year, I dunno if anything's changed in the last half year.
  10. Aww no offer on my World Mastercard. 😞
