  1. I am of the opinion that your public space decorations should be left at home. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Your "dress up" is another's "tacky".
  2. The only time the walk is longer for the aft cabins is going to the Sunset Bar. The trip to Oceanview is just marginally further.
  3. But the total number of elevators is still 12 with the midship being 8 cars rather than 4 as in the M class.
  4. Just go to the dining room of your choice at the time of your choice and you will be seated.
  5. I agree. To us they just didn't live up to the hype.
  6. Sounds like a TA fee to me, not Celebrity.
  7. Unless you have a refundable deposit, you will lose the deposit on the cancelled cabin, and then your remaining cabin will be repriced at whatever the current pricing structure is.
  8. TA rules may well be different than Celebrity's.
  9. I think it's high time to get rid of the app. Their IT has enough trouble just keeping the website semi useful.
  10. Generally the discounts cannot be stacked.
  11. I believe that it is back to one bottle of wine per person, max two per cabin.
  12. I do it all the time. Charges to all cards are posted in USD and it is up to your institution to do the conversion if required. Your Canadian USD Visa will be charged in USD just like when you use it on land in the US.
  13. Thanks. I know what and where they are, but the acronym escaped me. I sometimes wish people would write things out in full at least the first time in a post for those of us that aren't aware of all the short forms..
  14. Sorry, not being familiar with all the acronyms, what is a DPV?
  15. I would rather a balcony on an older ship than an oceanview on any ship.
  16. You will have to do this on board. Unlike a single dining purchase multi night dining packages can't be reserved ahead of time.
  17. What you have is a 10:30 check-in time, not boarding. You will check in and then go to the assigned waiting area to wait. Boarding may not even start before 11:00. It's all dependant on clearing the ship from the previous cruise. Once boarding has begun the process is a little quicker.
  18. Usually, but you may have a short wait or get a different table in their section.
  19. Shoreside won't worry about you. If you are not there by all aboard time they will close the check-in and go home.
  20. Some airlines also require ticketing before seat selection is made available.
  21. How long is the cruise you are contemplating? That will have an impact on the crowd. If it is one of the 3 or 4 day cruises you are more likely to get a younger demographic.
  22. You are too far out for a March flight. Usually 300 to 330 days out the flights become available. Flights up to February are available now
  23. Thanks. I am aware that the opening will not be the full depth of the balcony, but it will allow a bit easier conversation between the two.
