Correct, but that's what was served last year on the Pride when you ordered the Stuffed mushrooms. There's no appetiser called sauteed mushrooms on the Carnival dinner menu. There were a lot more issues like this with the food on the Pride. Did you know I couldn't get HOT oatmeal in the buffet? The soup toureens that they used to hold the oatmeal only kept it lukewarm. It was the same in both locations in the buffet.

I was on the ship for 31 days last May/June and I ordered it twice and both times that's how it was presented. It was basically two forks full of chopped mushrooms. At first I thought it was supply chain issues but I ordered it on the first week and the last week of my 31 days and that's how it was presented both times. Whatsmore I had ordered stuffed mushrooms two separate times at David's Steakhouse and the were served properly, so it wasn't supply chain issues but cutbacks.The picture below is the stuffed mushrooms from the Steakhouse last May on the Pride so evidently they knew what stuffed mushrooms are and had the ingredients to do it properly.

Thank you for this. So the fitness guy in me loves all the changes, especially the added area for the dumbbells/free weights. Of course that's at the cost of eliminating the whirlpool where that big open space for the dumb bells are. If you can do one more favor if you can find the time checkout the locker rooms in the Could 9 Spa area and see if they made any changes there. I would think it would be odd if they did the whole Spa & gym but didn't touch the locker rooms. Specifically I'm wondering if they left the sauna and steam rooms intact and whether those nice individual stall showers with the full body sprays are still there. Those showers were great for families traveling in one room since people can go there to shower since the locker rooms were available for everyone. Thanks in advance.

OK, that looks fine for the stuffed mushrooms. Here's a picture of the SAME appetiser on the SAME ship last June 2nd. And you wonder why there were complaints last year about the food on the Pride.

yes, if you see there's a little black round thing on that dark brown cross piece which is used to hold the shelf in the up position. What he's saying is it's either or and can't really be used simultaneously.

But it does give you the option of either or. On Celebrity's Edge Class ships there's one section of the closet with an upper and lower hanging rod together. BUT the lower rod is a FIXED metal bracket so if you wanted to hang longer stuff from the hanging rod above the lower rod gets in the way. Three ships and they never changed the design!🤷‍♂️

I'm curious how the lasagna turns out and hope it's better than it was last year on the Pride. It was a disaster and looked more like meatloaf with dried out cheese covering it.

These cabins definitely have less storage than any Carnival ship. There's no under counter drawer or shelf storage in the main cabin.

It sounds like the background music was NEVER updated during the drydock. The soundtrack in the buffet area didn't have music that was newer than 15-20 years ago.

It was Deck 5 right past the Aft Elevators in the hallway leading to the Carnivale Bar and Lounge.

Remember this ship, although a Costa ship, was built exclusively for the China market, hence a wax figure of Jackie Chan. (ALL the public signage was in English and Chinese) When it was announced that Carnival was taking over the Ship John Heald said they weren't sure whether the wax figure collection would stay.

OH BOY! THEY TOOK OUT THE INDOOR HOTTUB!!! For me that's not an issue because it wasn't something that I ever used on the Pride and LOVE the extra workout space but the removal of the whirlpool is going to be sorely missed by alot of people!!! The Fitness Center looks great though!

If you can post some photos of the updated Fitness Center I'd be forever grateful!

That's how it is in much of Europe. And in Spain the hot water literally comes out boiling so you have to be careful not to scald yourself!
