  1. Not the OP but I got same offer with drinks and WiFi ... first time to have that in the offer. I haven't sailed since 2019 😞 and even this offer is not enticing enough as it is just too far (for me) and expensive to fly for these itineraries. This was also for Mexican Riviera sailings on Solstice Sept all the way out to next March.
  2. Oh nice, 120% discount, they would pay us to cruise!
  3. It was email. If you didn't get it I would call and ask about it as I have had stuff on my account in the past with no email or mail out.
  4. Hahahaha ... this is what I was writing in my above post so fitting that you posted as I was typing. Ya there is a lot of smoke and mirrors though sometimes there are gems among the offers but have to be wise to them.
  5. The recent 'promotions' appear to be aligning with what they have often done for RCL sailings. I always found humor in the many ways you can say x% off and still get the same overall for two people. The game is a bit insulting but definitely good for a laugh. One of course also has to expect that for these offers the cost is risen to allow for the x% off so the final number after taxes will vary very little (if any) from the non x% off offers the month prior. 🙂 Even funnier it might even wind up being more.
  6. Well it appears they are sending offers out for this now. Just got one for Solstice out of LA for dates starting the end of September for sailings all the way to next March 2023. Mexican Riviera and all 7 day (couple 8 day) sailings .. it even include drinks (classic) and WiFi which is new to me, never had that on any past offer; no mention that it includes service gratuities. I live on the East Cost so not worth the travel but man it's enticing especially given the offer extends out to further dates when testing rules and quarantining could change.
  7. Like some others, I did not get the point for the June Caribbean quiz either and it's far enough past the 14th to figure it's unlikely to show up. This is the first time I've not received an expected point. A travel friend who also did this quiz at the same time also DID NOT get this point yet. Hopefully just a one off and the July Mexico quiz point shows up in August. I don't have it in me to call about one missing point; if I was closer to a next tier I would but for now I will see what happens in August.
  8. Not the OP but yes you can do this but it has to done with a phone call as it is not available online until closer to the cruise date. I have done this for many cruises that were always booked quite a ways into the future ... unless this has changed but it wasn't that long ago since I've done this.
  9. You totally helped as this is exactly what I was trying to confirm. I ended up just pre-purchasing one 'pack' of 4 and me and my travel partner and I will just play together even though it will really belong to me. Still debating getting another but how you explain it will work is what I was expecting, that a 'pack' purchase cannot be broken up across events which is understandable I guess. Thank you!
  10. If all the other suggestions do not work and you are forced into FCC, you should be able to apply this to another cruise ... I did this with a $100 NRD that I had for a cancelled cruise so don't see why you couldn't do the same. I was even able to do it online in the section where you can make payments on your cruise, you can enter your FCC ##s. Have not tried this recently but assume this still be an option. Of course EVERY situation can be different ... Good Luck!
  11. What appeals is not only the 20% off but the better deal to get four cards. One card is $19.99 but four cards 39.99 so that's a big difference per card... BUT again I am curious to know if they can be played at different hosted game shows but I think I might have to take a chance and it'll be what it'll be and worst case I will play four at once.
  12. That matches what I've been reading, that it is done on sea days. I am going to take the chance and buy the 4 card package and see how it goes. If they have it on the first sea day I will inquire with them the chances it will occur again on my cruise. I played this once on NCL long time ago.
  13. Ya then there is that. My cruise is a 9 night so was thinking more chance of it happening more than once but total crap shoot I guess.
  14. In my Cruise Planner I see that you can purchase Deal or No Deal cards online pre cruise and realize this is not a new thing, just new to me. They offer 1 card, 3 card, 4 card purchases, all currently at a 20% discount for my cruise. My question for those that have either purchased these pre-cruise or bought multiple cards ahead of time, if I purchase the 4 cards which is the best bang for buck, do all 'package purchased' cards have to played at the same Deal or No Deal show or can they be separated to perhaps play 2 during one show and 2 during another? Basically would each card stand on it's own and be playable on it's own Both me and my travel partner want to purchase the 4 cards but don't want to have to play 8 cards together in a single game show, we would like to be sure we can break them up to at least two game shows. Thanks all for your insight/experience on this.
