  1. Fantastic photos JP, I have to agree with the lady from Lincolnshire, they were exceptional. If I can trust my internet resources, Lincolnshire is also a beautiful place...
  2. It must be a thankless job to decide the rules regarding mask wearing. Cruise ships will forever be thought of differently regarding such rules as the memory of the Princess cruise ship a couple years ago that could not come home has not been forgotten. So, of course, we should follow the rules, once articulated, out of simple respect for one another and for the one who had to set them.
  3. Nor here in Richmond WWT. Love the new pup, she's a beaut and lucky to be with you both.
  4. Agreed. Thought I understood our 2 dogs zoomies and delighted in them. After a walk, unleash them, and watch as they ran up to the front door to be let in. But then yesterday, Grover the chihuahua - jack-Russell mix, just took off, a mere 20 steps from the front door. Zooming across one neighbor's yard after another. Took wife & I at least15 minutes to bring him home. Love their zoomies, but ....
  5. me too, they look entirely too ok to have been herded (inquisitive yes, annoyed maybe, unhappy no, IMO)
  6. Our guy on the left is a Jack Russell - Chihuahua mix. Showing his smarts by taking care of his also-adopted big sister,
  7. 2nd career: teaching high school. Again, I'm at a loss as to what to say to the students, after the news from Texas today. These kids are us, x number of years ago... Daveywavey: I know how you feel.
  8. Obviously, it's all too complicated Silversea. Will keep the one I've booked, but won't book another till all is clear, particularly the door to door scam.
  9. So, I just wonder, is it human nature for us to come together as one group of human beings across borders etc, or is it our fate to separate and separate again into smaller groups. I've got no agenda here, but I do wonder about the answer. I've watched my particular protestant church split, and then split again, over differences I cared very little about over my, admittedly, rather long life. I wish I had a better understanding of philosophy, but I think it's time to open a 2nd bottle of sauvignon blanc & maybe do a crossword or sudoku...
