  1. I don't think it shows what you drink, just the location of the purchase and what was paid,
  2. The solo meeting is held daily and is listed in the daily with the time and location. It's usually around 5PM. They are for anyone traveling solo, not just people staying in the studio cabins. The reason I asked this specific question was that I wasn't sure if a ship that didn't specifically cater to solo cruisers via the studio cabins would have a solo gathering.
  3. You'll get the extra points. I only sail in studios and am now platinum after 4 cruises. All 3 cruises I took in 2022 gave me triple points.
  4. I think every cruise in 2023 qualifies. Do a mock booking and see if you get the LATDBLX code on your confirmation. Thats what I did.
  5. You can bid on whatever category they offer you in the email. I won a bid from a studio to a balcony in October. Post-Covid rules/ practice seems to differ from pre-COVID. At least for the time being.
  6. I believe everyone is subject to the 15 drink limit, even those that do not have the CHEERS package. The enforcement of that rule is inconsistent though, as are most things Carnival.
  7. I booked a 5 day cruise on the Escape. I’ve never been on an NCL cruise shorter than 7 days. On another cruise line, there are some differences in the cruise experience on a 5 day vs a 6 day or longer cruise. Are there any differences on NCL?
  8. While the weather wasn't bad, the sea was far from calm. So yes, I did feel some rocking. But no more than any other ship I've been on given the sea conditions and definitely much less than some others.
  9. Sorry. I didn't spend much time in the lounge and didn't really keep track of what time it was when I was there. I know one night we did run out of beer and wine (drank it dry...lol). I don't know at what time they refilled it.
  10. My experience has been that credits can't be used to cover the deposit.
  11. Ah ok. I should’ve guessed. I never tried that since I am beyond happy with the brunch cheese grits. I’ve had acceptable shrimp and grits before. I will pass on that. 🤣🤣
  12. Thanks. I’ll wait to make specialty dining reservations in that case. I don’t mind eating alone but I do enjoy sharing meals with others.
  13. How does this affect the dining for the majority of ships, which don't have his restaurant?
  14. ah ok. I was so focused on the will they or won't they water part of this discussion, I took the exclusion part to be specifically about the water and not the general package exclusions.
  15. I'll be sailing solo on the Jewel in March. All of my previous cruises on NCL have been on ships with studio cabins, so they had the daily solo gatherings. Will these be held on the Jewel?
  16. I'm pretty sure bottled water is different from the carton water. The bottled water is fancy Italian water I think...still and sparking. That Flow water in the carton is alkaline spring water. I don't really like it, but I'll drink it for free. LOL. I'd drink tap water before I'd buy it though.
  17. The $500 is the Haven CND. So it seems the OBC for those are significantly less. $2000 only gets you $500 OBC
  18. This is showing on all of my current bookings. Unfortunately, I can't find what the exclusions are
  19. I'm quoting you but this isn't directed at you 🙂 Would people feel better if the lists weren't updated as supply issues occur and are resolved? I feel like they're damned if they do, damned if they don't. Communicate too much, communicate too little. I did notice that the 12/9 list had the 1792 small batch bourbon listed on each package. This one changes the P+ 1792 bourbon to the full proof. I do like the fact that they specify where some of the liquors will be found. Do all ships have a whiskey bar?
  20. I remember when I had a lot of different FCCs from cancelled bookings, I always had to call if I wanted to apply more that 2 to a sailing. Sometimes I would get an error message but usually, applying the third would knock one of the previous credits off of the payment.
  21. April 2024 is still showing no cruises for the Glory and I still haven't received any emails regarding it. I called this morning and the rep looked through her ship announcements and saw nothing for the Glory. She reached out to someone else and they told her the sailings are sold out. I really find that hard to believe. But she could only repeat the information she was given.
  22. Thanks. It was my question so I am quite aware of what was asked.
  23. Plus gratuities and possibly sales tax. Sounds like one expensive drink. But it doesn’t look like any drinks that I’d be interested in are over $20 anyway. But this definitely makes me more conscious of being aware of the differences between cruise lines.
