Glad to help! Every day great far. Not so much looking forward tonight (Drakes Passage) but very much to tomorrow and the rest of the trip. We decided we wanted to do something totally different. This trip fit the bill.

Received a letter in cabin last night informing us we needed to surrender passports due to port regulations. Mdr on deck 3, our time was noon today. Went quick, couple pics. Two lines broken up by floors

I never said I would never go on her. I said I have no desire to. That has little to do with the outward appearance but WAY more to do with the down side of the experience we had had on Oasis. Just did not WOW me. Your experience may differ. All of this discussion is fluff. My original post was that that RCCL in their constant driven desire to be THE biggest, THE most over the top, THE largest feature driven wow, wow wow has driven them to make something that is…. Butt ugly. While there ships used to be technical stylish marvels, IMHO they are NOT now.

And now to Drakes Passage and Antartca

This monument was erected to the thousands of souls who lost their lives going thru the passage.

Pretty much the whole ship is up. 6:15am

The other side of this Cape Horn (actually an island) is the Pacific. From here we head southeast thru the Drakes passage to Antartica.

The Albatross

We are now at Cape Horn. We are extremely lucky. The seas are calm and the weather is fantastic.

On this ship there are a ton

Captain just came on and said we needed to stop somewhere (hard to understand) around midnight to fill out paperwork for going around the horn (I think) and we would be having 55 mph winds tonite.
