At $160 USD per person/day it would depend on the cruise. If it were port intensive we would not do it.
Mary Lou
That's the total cost pp/pd ...not an extra charge .:o

How many $$$$$$$$$$$$$$?
It works out at about £100 ( 160 usd) per person per night.
But we really like Blu and the Aquaspa and probably wouldnt use the butler, apart from the occasional cappuchino although a larger cabin / balcony would be nice.
Decisions decisions
-
... would you change from an AQ guarantee to a Suite guarantee on the Constellation???
-
-
We were in Blu on the Silhouette in April and the server confirmed that the deserts were the same as the MDR only difference was a smaller portion (healthy).
That's why , when you can't decide which one to have, your waiter will probably say " I'll bring all of them " :D

Creme brûlée is always available in Blu. Just ask and enjoy
And it's delicious ;)

Each to their own
I love that they are in the cabin - it takes me 45 mins to dry my hair so standing in a bathroom getting hotter and hotter is a no no - where I can open the balcony door for a breeze is best
They are in the drawer, hidden by the chair back - pull out the chair and its there
I'm with you on this one!;)

We just sailed on the Constellation in June. We have sailed 5 times with Celebrity and have always been very happy but this cruise has the best captain, staff and crew of any of the other cruises we have been on. I think you will be very happy with the service on this ship.
I'm really pleased to read this as we'll be on her in a few months :D

Interesting. I've never had humus, pita chips, and olives in a CC cabin. What ships have you been on? My last CC cabin was the Century in February.
Had it in AQ on the Reflection TA in April

I booked an AQ gty and when I called Celebrity to change my allocated cabin, within the same category, they said it wasn't possible to change .[/quote
Just realised it's the US/UK thing. ... US can change, UK can't. :o
-
Just know that when you receive your assignment, if unhappy you can ask to be switched to any other available cabin in your exact category.
I booked an AQ gty and when I called Celebrity to change my allocated cabin, within the same category, they said it wasn't possible to change .

Internet on Reflection Spring TA was very patchy.
I heard a man complaining to the IT guy that he'd bought the most expensive package as he was needing to be involved in business meetings and he (we all) either had no signal or kept losing it.
Personally I wouldn't bank on having a decent signal and then if you have a good connection, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

We've been on both, unfortunately there are things in life that just aren't perfect, but cruising on either the "S" class or "M" class comes pretty close .
As we say on these boards , IMHO.

We've also been in all three and we love Blu and used the Persian Gardens a lot on our recent TA which of course has lots of sea days. On a port intensive cruise, we certainly wouldnt have used it so much.
Our next cruise is in AQ because the price was right, but then all of the cruises we have chosen were (partly) because the price was right.
I was only discussing yesterday with my nearest and dearest ;) that perhaps we should consider an 1A or maybe a sweet 16 in the future and spend the difference on the speciality restaurants which we have never done in the past.
Decisions decisions, but it gives you something to look forward to.
Whatever you chose, I doubt you'll be disappointed :)

The ports have all been changed on the Black Sea cruises, now visiting Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey.
and Sochi
-
Have been on both, and would again, often, if we could .
-
Thank you.
I am sure I will love it!
I have never sailed on an M-class before, only S-class, so it will be a new experience.
I did sail on Century in about 2001, so I am thinking it may be more like that.
It's somewhere in between ;)

No big brunch on the Reflection TA this April/May.
There was one lunchtime in the buffet that was more decorated than others, more head chefs walking around, slightly more elaborate fruits for dessert and all being cut on request. There were ice carvings too. All of that was just that I particularly noticed as I don't think it was advertised in the daily newsletter.
I really don't see the point of them wasting their time and money just so that people can take pictures especially as so much is wasted. Those of us that have been fortunate enough to experience the late night buffet and the Brunch probably have enough pictures and those who haven't experienced it possibly will never know about it...or can look at someone else's pictures.
Just walking into to buffet area, particularly on the "s" class ships is grand enough on any day.
Just my opinion of course :o

We changed from a C1 on Millennium to 8166 which is the opposite corner to 8181.
We weren't disappointed at all.
Am sure you'll love the space and the balcony is HUGE.
Enjoy!

If you are in Concierge cabin or above, you'll get your tender ticket in your stateroom the night before you arrive at the port you are tendering, when your stateroom is prepared for the night.
If you are in any of the other cabins they will announce at the end of the evenings main entertainment where your tickets can be obtained from the next morning and starting from what time. Alternatively it will be in the (oh I've forgotten the name of the daily news thingy ) that will also be in your stateroom the night before.
I think that's right . :o

You get to HK at 11 PM. When can you board your ship? Do you want a hotel for a night? The easiest way from the airport is hi speed direct rail fro the airport to Kowloon or Central on the Island and a taxi from there.
Yes we used the taxi/train in HK but after our cruise not before ( because we sailed from Singapore ).
We flew British Airways and you can check your luggage in at the train station and then do more sightseeing while your luggage is sent to the airport. It was a very good train service.
This of course doesn't help you on your arrival, but it might help someone else :o

Yes, those three green apples did make me laugh... I thought it most odd as previously there was a bowl with a selection of apple pear banana and grapes.
On the Reflection TA this April/May we had the test tube vase with the alstroemerias but they did look a bit wilted, but they were replaced a few days later. They used to be removed the day before the last day which sort of made you feel as though they were trying to get rid of you as your cruise was nearly over. It was nice that they were still in the cabin on our last morning. We also got the single red rose from the CC.
I agree, the new canapés were much more interesting than the dried up bits of crouton with the squirt of bleurghhhh on top that we used to have.
We never eat the chocolates but always bring them home. I don't understand why people would just leave them, if we don't want anything, we just ask the stateroom attendant not to bring it.

I may be wrong, but it's definitely more than 8
