Thanks for suggestions .I actually have a print out but the colours weren't clear although barcode and q code in black look fine . I just wondered if anybody had used their phone and downloaded it and was able to scan off phone for boarding .In this so called modern technology days is this possible .I have them downloaded on phone and Samsung pad as back up .I will maybe have to bite the bullet and pay out for a new printer but I am so tight

Can you download onto phone to show or do you have to have print out as my printer has packed up . Just managed to print the luggage labels before it decided to pack up

Thanks for your reply again .I guess they are still not certain which way to go on this one .As you say we would be happy to book the mdr 14 nights before we went 6pm suits us down to the ground . Last year on Iona just queued early got a table for 2 and liked that table and waiters so just went and booked the rest of the cruise at the desk .

I was questioning what Smokey 01had said on restaurant bookings#10 that they had booked mdr before sailing on Iona so don't know if they were trying pre booking on Iona or not

Pre booked Iona theatre 4 nights but no sign of being able to book mdr .Can pre book limelight club if required.Confirmation of theatre booking returned via email with ref no .

Yes but you can eat at your own speed and not feel as if you have to wait for slower eaters or people holding things up due to conservations. We found groups of tables for two tended to click just as the bigger tables and formed a close bond

The page listing the restaurants is a joke the Coral and Pearl say they are extra till you go into each one then it says included which of cause they are .Why can't they get the set up correct in the first place . Being able to book them for iona as a trial doesnt seem to be happening nowhere on your personaliser to book the MDR as yet

Yes I wish, but maybe it was the way I was brought up to keep things tidy ,maybe that's how I ended up being a binman!

Yes but when you see trays left most of the day looks so untidy especially when food hasn't been consumed .Would rather do my bit and keep the ship tidy as the staff have enough to do as it is .Every little helps

If we have nipped to the buffet and used a tray to take back to cabin afternoon tea I would always return said tray to waiters at the service stations with a polite thankyou.I would never leave in the corridor for someone to trip over .

We always go for C deck for the larger balcony sit in shade possible over B deck which are smaller balconys not been in a D deck so can't compare cabin size and balcony

As we only want to book the mdr for the whole cruise at 6pm we booked at the restaurant desk and actually did not use the app to book last year on iona .But the question is can you book mdr on Iona before you go as commented by smokey01

Hi smokey 01 could you tell me how you were able to book the mdr prior to going .I have checked in on line iona but not seen anywhere you can do this any clues would be helpfull

I thought the same only first name needed as per booking and first name on passport .What I found was when it brought up passport number for some reason defaulted to one that expired 4 years ago although correct one entered on my details and used three times since new one was issued

We have baltic tier and appropriate early boarding 12 pm

When we have cruised the mdr waiters that serve your food asked if you want a drink with your meal .Has that stopped now ?

Noticed Britannia tracking looked odd today .Made a very sharp 90 deg turn .Dont know if it was to kill a bit of time or something else

I just switch it of and put in the safe dare not switch it on tiĺ I get home .Me being a skinflint £20 will last me 2 years if I'm carefull

You made me think as I always used kroozcam was the P and O site showing them .Just checked and they don't show .I think they can't be bothered anymore another cut back to save money

I bought a 100 shares 15 years ago and have the old style paper version from equinti .Ever since all I have done is emailed twice every year asking for obc to be given for my cruises .This went pear shape this year on first email when they asked for proof I emailed back and said this was the first time in 20 cruises I had to do this they apologised as it was someone new and added my obc to my cruise. I think now a days these shares are electronic and are handled slightly different to the old paper shares

Will we ever see the return of the fleets web cams or is that a thing of the past or maybe just operational problems!
