  1. Our agent strongly suggested we do both set sail passes as you have to register your travel arrangements and also your credit card will advance to the next cruise already registered. When you are checking in the desk doesn't know you are on a consecutive cruise.

Not sure how the one of the posters stated he got off with a suitcase of laundry...you would have to go thru customs to take luggage...anything more than a back bag or such is considered luggage and you are also using an in transit pass to get off the ship and show it and new sea pass to get get back on the ship. But I guess you did it...

Oh Bob...can't wait for our B2B on Adventure in just a few weeks....

  2. To the poster talking about being concerned about people noticing what is going on in a bathroom.....we are talking about a restroom on a ship where there are only a few stalls and sinks....and the major example is right before dining....ladies especially....I wonder what their own bathrooms must be like because all of a sudden go on a cruise and toilet paper can be thrown everywhere paper towels on the floor...and you got it...you are standing in line waiting your turn and just see ladies go from the stall out the door...and these stalls do not have a sink either...so yep gives one the chills...just saying...

  3. OB, I am begging join me in January, we can surf and rock climb. I suck at rock climbing, but am tolerable at surfing. I have to put a face to our relationship of most of a decade....

Good luck with that...I have been trying to get OB to join us since his great advice to try the Adventure of the Seas.....he gives awesome advice and I for one am glad I followed his for sure....we would have missed out on a terrific ship and fantastic crew....

  4. I was using Phish's suggestion that would give D+ members 50% off the drink program. Not that I think that will ever happen. According to a couple threads concerning the new drink packages there will a $55 and $65 package. The $65 package includes wine up to $12 per glass. Under the new program not everyone in the cabin has to purchase it. Since we have DL / CL access, like you, I probably wouldn't be interested the drink program. Although I may do it when I sail on the Majesty.

Thanks Pete.....thought maybe i missed something as I skimmed thru the posts again. Love the CL and so enjoy meeting all the interesting cruisers we have talked with and cruised with many times since.

  5. Agree, the drink packages are not the solution for everyone. However with D+ getting the premium drink package for $32.50 a day pp. It is not a bad value. I like the better wines and could easily get my monies worth. To me the social aspect of the lounge increases the valuable of the drinks served there.

where are you finding this drink package price at? I am D+ and only seeing 55 bucks a person for premium drink....I am sure not paying that...now 32.50 you have my attention

  6. And please...everyone...leave the illegal irons and steamers at home....I don't want my cruise ruined due to a fire....while I use a flat iron...it doesn't come with me on the cruise either....I can see people leaving them on by accident and I shutter to think about all the people who aren't paying attention at muster if an accident did occur due to someone "forgetting" to turn something off...

  7. You can only purchase these once on board. I loved the Allure/Oasis steam room but i so so loved the Persian Gardens on the Summit. So much more choice but I enjoyed the relaxation area the Allure/Oasis offer also.

Use towels when using these thermal beds as they can get very very hot...

ohhhhhh to be sitting in there right now......

  8. You are most welcome! Just know that Coconut Beach Club was not splashy or luxurious; simply peaceful, clean, and friendly for a nice all-inclusive beach getaway. Just want to make sure; if you are looking for something more upscale, this might not be the place. Their website has lots of photos.

    Have a great cruise!

thank you so so much...I emailed the resort and this morning they emailed me. I sent back the date we are scheduled in the port and she confirmed us...whooo hoooo thank you again.

  9. I plan on updating my platinum MLife status in january when out in vegas. We were told at the Bellagio that we would have to show our RCCL status each year to get a new card as they put the dates on their cards and their tier status runs thru October of each year. I don't think they understand my status isn't changing with RCCL lol but what ever. Have also had others here on CC say they just showed their MLife card to the casino manager to get drink coupons and so forth.

Cant wait until my next cruise to try this. We are diamond +

  10. Oh yah!!!! Those two are quite dapper :) I believe they take the transatlantic and remain onboard all winter. FYI, they sail in an inside cabin.

Oh yes found that out two years ago and they have a cabin for their trunks and outfits next to them. But hey if you are spending six months on board royal is going to do something for you. I think they got on board earlier this year also. Love seeing their grand entrance each night and the outfits they have on....

  11. Perhaps I am a Dunce....But...

I booked our cruise through a TA...And that may matter...

When I log on to the RCI website our cruise is there...Good :):):)

    But -

I cannot call up any Financial Information...Such As...

Final Payment Date & $$$ Amount - Was It Made?

Can I confirm the promised Ship Board Credit from the TA?

    Perhaps I remember Cruise Value Center :( :( :(

Where can I find Financial Info on RCI'S Website????

    Thanks!

you should have that on your invoice from your travel agent. It probably states the same as mine does....in inquiries about this reservation must be made thru your agent on your page. I am sure that some travel agents here on the boards will give you the official information. All I ever have is my invoice showing my information and dates and so forth...never any financial information. Also your ship board credit will show up when you are onboard usually the second day. That has been our experience.
