  1. Yes, on the British version of Princess.com, under Health Protocols, you have four choices, sailing from the USA, Canada. Sailing from Europe, Sailing from the UK, and sailing from Australia. Select your departure point and it has more information. A sad state of affairs that Princess employees do not know how to access the information that is posted on the World Wide Web.
  2. Taken from your post “Additionally there seems to be a three day prior to boarding test required as exempt people, plus a day of boarding test... don't see this mentioned on your web site “ This information IS contained on my post, copied from the Princess website, it’s in the opening paragraph, I have quoted it below. In accordance with health authority directives, all unvaccinated guests must follow these COVID-19 protocols: Show proof of a negative pre-travel COVID-19 RT-PCR test performed three days prior to sailing. Have an embarkation day COVID-19 test performed at the terminal. We must provide testing information and reporting to the destinations we visit. Guests will be responsible for the cost of testing and administration in most destinations. Each test is offered at our internal cost and the number of tests required will vary by length of voyage and local requirements
  3. It’s not a dedicated lounge. It’s a venue such as Vista lounge that becomes the Platinum Elite Lounge between 5-7pm each evening, with the exception of the Captains loyalty event.
  4. Well, I’m glad you achieved the exemption you applied for but again your post doesn’t sense to me. All the information you claim to not be able to receive from either a TA or Princess directly is on the Princess Website! Each test is offered at our internal cost and the number of tests required will vary by length of voyage and local requirements. Testing requirement Cost per test Charge location Terminal COVID-19 test $60 onboard folio Testing on board every 4 days $10 onboard folio Testing required by local authorities to go ashore $10 ($0 if part of company shore excursion) onboard folio Disembarkation test on board $10 onboard folio You may not be permitted ashore in all ports and, if allowed, may only go ashore through shore excursions sold by or through Princess using tour operators who comply with our COVID-19 protocols. Self-exploration or participation in shore excursions not sold through or operated by Princess will not be permitted. You may also be required to have a COVID-19 test performed prior to disembarkation. If you refuse to be tested or screened or to follow COVID-19 protocols, you will be denied boarding, and no refund or credit will be issued. Anyone who doesn’t comply with the onboard public health measures may be disembarked at the first available opportunity. Other consequences could include being denied service, required stateroom isolation and being banned from sailing in the future. If you are non-compliant, no refund of the cruise fare for unused cruise days or travel expenses (if flying home) will be covered. If your travel party is impacted and/or they are required or voluntarily choose to leave with you, the same policies will apply to them: no refund of cruise fare for unused cruise days or coverage of travel expenses home. If you feel you need to change your plans after reading these directives for unvaccinated guests, please refer to our Book with Confidencepolicy for cancellation options.
  5. On the Princess UK site it posts the cost of dock side testing in Southampton as $60 per person. Although a few have reported that signs at the port and the amount charged to their state board account is $25 per person. Boosters being required 270 days after 2nd dose of the vaccine is an accepted requirement in mainland Europe. Cruiselines implementing this requirement resulted in the need of all passengers to be tested before port arrival to cease, and also meant you can go ashore independently. I appreciate you can’t please everyone all of the time. Dealing with so many different countries on European itineraries must be a nightmare for the cruiselines. They can’t offer a pick and mix option to all passengers. Very poor that their staff can’t operate a search function to find out the information you required, when they have it posted on the relevant websites, that they surely have access too.
  6. Where you are cruising will dictate some of the restrictions. I read a post on here where someone was unhappy having secured an exemption to find that meant they could only leave the ship on Princess excursions.
  7. Yes, they list it on the site, it included medical, religion, and vaccine not available to you. I will find the information and link it. edited to add, below info for UK sailing exemptions. Princess Cruises continues to operate vaccinated cruises. For sailings from the United Kingdom and Europe, at least 95% of guests ages 12 years and older will be fully vaccinated. These cruises are available for guests who have received their final dose of an authorized/approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the beginning of the cruise and have proof of vaccination, in accordance with local health guidelines. In addition, where local regulations allow, we are managing an exemption process for guests 12 and older, that supports medical, religious and other guest considerations.
