Well... $50K huh? 🤮 Our coin out (loss) was minimal (subjective) and a part of our budget. Since we have paid for these Elite cruises by donating our winnings back to Carnival, I fully plan on accepting their offers for free cruises! Gambling isn't for everyone, but its a part of our entertainment fund on a cruise. Our previous casino offers have been basic at best, definitely nothing of this caliber. And as mentioned, we've never had a getaway, premier, or ultra offer. On another site we can't mention here that rhymes with caselook someone had access on 11th and is complaining about the offers being "trash" and all in 2025. Doesn't bother me, gives me something to look forward to although I would love to depart this Saturday!

Agree with all. We look in every crevice of bedding, furniture, especially curtains. We are garage-changers as well. Luggage does not come in the house. And we also do the black contractor bags to whomever made that comment. Sadly, we brought them home once from a luxury PRIVATELY-OWNED beach condo... I don't wish them on anyone. The lay-person does not understand what you have to go through to truly get rid of them. I miss the pesticides of the 70s. But I think (hope, pray) that cruise ships must use something with DEET or stronger because you really only hear of the rare case of bedbugs on a ship.

Does anyone know if the “balcony” room is a guarantee or if you can choose your location? Could you potentially upgrade to an Aft or Premium balcony?

We seem to have skipped Premier and Ultra... *Free Balcony *$300 Fun Play *DOU Everywhere *Other benefits I understand that those with higher cruising status (we are lowly Red but will be Gold on next 7 day sailing) get to access the offer two days earlier. If you have an Elite offer, is there anything left after the Platinums and Diamonds have gotten their picks or is this false hope?

Although the differences are likely small, please opine. Havana Interior. Specifically looking at horizontal rooms backing up to elevators. One big plus for Vista is driving distance. That haul to Miami gets rough. Thanks!

We love the sunshine. If getting a balcony, I recommend the spa ones on deck 12. They have longer balconies and you can have a lounger!

Agree with recent Celebration MDR food. It was really bad. Worst of any cruise we’ve ever been on.

I also used the provided hair dryer on Celebration last week and it was fine. Even had the concentrator attachment!

Anyone know what brand of pillows Carnival uses on Celebration? They were perfect. Squishy but still lofty enough.

Carnivals water is cheap enough to order pre cruise. Don’t waste your carryon drink allotment for that. Bring soda or more alcohol for the parents!

Well, we have still not received the passport. The tracking says it was delivered to our PO Box on April 12. The postmaster has admitted fault and we are pushing for a new issuance which is another headache. Refund for expedited service requested. We are just those “if something is going to happen it’s gonna be us” people. I understand that I will be able to check in online without hubbys passport info and able to update later?

Found some interesting info from another site: We have run into the issue to renew his passport. We started the process in February, asked for expedited service, and still have not received it. For anyone else in this situation, we wanted to share a little bit of information on how to get your money back when the US Department of State exceeds their Service Level Agreements on time for expedited passport processing. Steps: Go to https://passportstatus.state.gov/ to check on your status Note the Date it was received and the Application Locator Number Go to https://travel.state.gov/content/tra...st/refund.htmland note how many days they have to complete it based on the date it was received Go to https://www.timeanddate.com/date/weekdayadd.html and put the received date in the box, and the SLA days in the add days box If it is after, go back to https://travel.state.gov/content/tra...st/refund.htmland fill out the form. Make sure to include the date that it was received and the amount of time (from the first paragraph on the page) they had to complete it. "Application number" on that form should be the application locator number. If you fill it out, you should get your $60 back in 4-6 weeks

Yes old passport came back today. Online status says approved.

We have not received any emails. We received our supporting documents today but still no passport.

Completely agree. I chose set dining for the first time for our upcoming trip and will likely change to YTD.
