Is a 10:40am flight from SFO doable? We would have priority debark and carry our own luggage, plus a towncar/driver. We have TSA precheck. We are new at flying so unsure of timing. I appreciate your experiences.

First time to CM. Beach Club/Boardwalk, Stay at Port, or Stay on Ship? Only one other ship in port that day. Thanks for your thoughts!

We are also new to cruising in the Spring and depart 3/2 from Mobile. Kids will be kids, as they say. The worst behavior I've seen on ships is always from adults... Not gonna let their choices steal my joy. My biggest concern is the weather! Praying for warm water and sunny skies!

I'm heading to Alaska in July on Carnival because of price - casino offering for free balcony. BUT because of the "free" offer (I know, let's not discuss the meaning of free), it affords us to be able to do more excursions, fly first class, etc. It is a bucket list item that we are crossing off. CANT WAIT!

For those who are not snorkelers, I highly recommend the Glass Bottom Boat in Bonaire.

Looking for information on what Elite excursions were offered for the following cruises/ports: Spirit 8 day from Mobile to Coz, CM, Belize, Honduras Magic 8 day from Miami to Aruba, Curaçao, La Romana and Amber Cove Miracle 11 day from SF to Icy Strait Point, Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Prince Rupert thanks!

Had about 25k points last 7 day cruise and came home with $4k loss.

Also of note, deposits are lost if you cancel an elite booking. Learned the hard way.

Carnival is throwing offers at us right now; Elite, Free Suites with Fun Play, $2000 OBC... How do you resist not booking under every "deal"? At this point we have 5 cruises booked... and an RV for sale since we won't have time to use it next year!

For non-snorkelers - we loved the glass bottom boat tour in Bonaire. Aruba - we loved Kukuu bus tour and beach. Curacao - we did a beach day and would prob choose a different location next time. Going back to Aruba and Curacau twice next year! Can't wait.

Of course your mileage may vary, but on the mega ships - especially if its your first time on one - I would save that money and definitely do inside or ocean view.

Had an extended balcony - lounger was already there upon arrival. Sadly, we literally went out on our balcony twice during our cruise. There was just too much to do! Made me start considering insides or OV on the larger ships.

Can confirm. We were big tippers and had multiple servers all over us all the time. We couldn’t drink as many as they were bringing! Went home with seltzers and monsters.

We lost $4k our last trip. Received 4 Elite Balcony offers. Gambling is one of our main sources of entertainment on a cruise. A typical non-cruise beach vacation would cost us that for a week with other entertainment, meals, lodging, etc. That will continue to be "our number" for our upcoming "free" cruises. YMMV, to each their own, blah blah blah.

Interested in this topic. We have our first 11 and 12 day cruises booked next year. Can’t wait!

New casino offers should come out after 9/1 when the current elite offers expire.

I think offers have more to do with the "secret" Carnival algorithm - we accumulated ~25K points on last cruise combined and had 4 Elite offers about a month after we got off the ship. We've never received Premier, Getaway, or Ultra offer. 4th cruise. Lowly Red.

Looking for info for when Alcatraz tours open for purchase for the season. Traveling in July 2024. Bookings only open through end of 2023 season (November).

Untrue. We have 4 cruises and are only red and just got 4 elite invites.

Update: Booked a second cruise under F7E. Each offer is good for two bookings.

We ran into a similar issue and although we had screenshots that showed the funplay offered with both codes, they would not honor. Considering escalating it up the chain, but it’s not make or break. Would be nice though. We booked one cruise with and one without. We are waiting for our pvp to call back bc we are questioning that each code says it can be used for two cruises. If they will honor that we will book another 2.

Our offer is limited to two. After intensely studying the choices, we've settled on Southern Caribbean in May and Alaska in July (if they are still open when we get access tonight)! We looked long and hard at the Glory TA but it just doesn't work for our schedules. I don't think I could be any more excited!
