  1. If you are World Club Gold or above you would be invited.
  2. I have never heard them call Club for priority in Southampton. I have only heard QG , PG , Diamond then Platinum.
  3. There are lots of bars near Ocean Terminal within walking distance
  4. I couldn’t be bothered to go round asking other guests what they did or did not get provided with in their cabin/ bathroom . Zero interest to me. If I thought I was missing something I would ask for myself. If I needed to wash my hands before luggage arrives with my own toiletries I would use hot water and then use copious amounts of hand gel which would be from my handbag and or carry on bag. All sorted no fuss.
  5. On QM2 There was a polite notice specifically telling you not to take the big bottles away, that they would be sanitized and refilled. Controversial I know but I don’t understand why people don’t bring their own toiletries. I prefer bar soap so always bring my own.
  6. You couldn’t do that in Ocean or Mayflower they are part of the same building but separate. No idea about Horizon or City
  7. CPS gets my vote. Not always the cheapest option but never had a problem. They do get booked up so advise early booking. Gone are the days when you could just turn up and purchase parking on the day. Other outfits will be booked up too so don’t wait and I have never seen prices go down either!!
  8. Some sort of crew area would be my guess. But for what I don’t know. There is some distance between the window and the obstruction. I had one last year and I found it very airy and a good size.
  9. I take a different dress for every evening however long the cruise is, to be honest 16 nights is the longest I have done and I take a couple of spares as I like choices. I only live locally so extra luggage is not an issue. Going to check out Vinted.
  10. I wasn’t grills and just rang up to change my time as it was far too early for me and there was no issues they just asked me when I did want so I picked 9 40 . Thy didn’t change the luggage tags though and I still kept to the colour I was originally given. There were still people around in the buffet after 9 it was just they shut down all the food stations at 9
  11. I never leave the ship until after 9 as I live locally and wait until the queues have died down. I fell the buffet closes around 9 30 . I have always eaten there after 8 30. I leave my things in my cabin go to breakfast then go back to my cabin to disembark. I usually like a 9 40 time. If I am not allocated that I just ring purser’s office and ask to change.
  12. It’s my understanding if you have booked through a T A The contact centre is unable to help and will just refer you back to T A . May save you an unnecessary call .
  13. MSC have just launched there own luxury brand so can’t imagine it’s on their agenda nor is there desire for CUK to sell Cunard.
  14. If there were free cabins available then the booking would be reopened and you would see availability online.
  15. If it’s a saver fare highly unlikely. You would need to book select or an early saver might get you in a similar area .
  16. Another factor to consider is that premium soft drinks are excluded you can’t have branded cans or bottles just the fountain styles ones from the bar.
  17. Unfortunately I think it will be the case that you would need to all buy the package . I don’t think there is much flex on this.
  18. I think free upgrades will be less frequent with the new bidding system. They won’t offer anything for free if they can get payment for the upgrade. I have only had the location upgraded not up to the next category. Cunard fares let you chose and you used to get first priority for an upgrade.
  19. I always just drop my luggage and then take my car to where I will be parking it and then get a taxi back. I think the original question was misunderstood. There is no check on your arrival time when you drop off.
  20. Two weeks ago on QM2 it was open on level 3 and fixed dining was level 2 .
  21. Yes definitely as all my family hold 100 shares each but frequently if any two are sharing a cabin only 1 can have the OBC
  22. I can see that working but the non military OBC credit holder would have to own the100 shares in their own right would be my understanding.
