I think the test will be a thing for the foreseeable future. I remember people who thought we would have been fully open, cruising and mask free the summer of 2020. Every time I read about someone waiting until the restriction lessen to cruise, I chuckle. I remember reading in July how test and mask would be a thing of the past come Oct. The sooner people plan for the worst and hope for the better, the less stress they will be.

No at most you might loose $100pp on the cruise after April 30th 2022 under the old policy.
-
CWC should allow for you to cancel without penalties and then you can apply those FCCs to the April and May cruises

Nothing has changed. When you go to the site it does mention that reduced capacity is there to protect your family. I don't recall seeing this beforehand.

When they moved Indy to Odyssey it took a couple of weeks. I would imagine the same will happen as it is a manual process.

As far as boarding i think it will always be a YMMV thing. Roll the dice, it your vacation.
I also think you can give up on the Key and Windjammer being open for dinner until 2022.

UPD includes a $20 credit at playmakers per person on Oasis class ships.

You can ask her to release the booking to you and go to another agent. Cruise can be repriced many times, you don't have to cancel

I have a friend who just got off Indy, no test. Only if you need it for travel purposes or have subsequent cruises.

@DJLDRUMS Were you a suite? Another poster ask if they could board way early for a 2:30 check-in time and I was replying that it might be an issue. Some ports have been strict with non-suite guest.
-
I think this may just be a Symphony issue, as in that concierge isn't as "nice"

You can look at the floor plans for your ship and see.
But on harmony this just means guarantee. It could be either, or any.

Insides only suck if there is more than 1 person😉

I was told that sailings from this port was very strict. A few people on this sailing said they received an email saying boarding times will be strict and do not come before your scheduled boarding time as you will be turned away. Suites are different, Star class pax can pretty much come when they want. I would say 30min early might be okay but anything over that........

Keep in mind this is a very much a YMMV as some have had the concierge make their CK reservations on Allure. They may not being doing specialty restaurants but they will book your CK dinners.

@earltonharleyFor a lot of sailings, only on the app, they will give you a date when check-in opens. It will be located under your profile info.

They all will expire soon-ish as the company burned a bunch of test and closed the factory thinking everything was over. They are just going through the stock they have now. They expire 3 months past the expiration date. The test I receive dated 10/3 and 10/5 expire on Jan 3rd and 5th 2022, I brought them early last week. I have 3 cruises in Jan and I will wait close to then and see if they have manufactured new test.

@lolalowEach of you have to do it from different logins as the results are tied to that.
@jean87510Imho it is much easier to arrange these test as proctors are available 24/7, Some places are 40-50miles away at inconvenient times

Yes and yes. I did check-in for my entire party of 5 adults. Later one party member logged in to update their passport.

Why would the format of CP have to do with a ship sailing?

I laughed when I read this and laughed even more at the post that followed. Jr.suite is like Jumbo shrimp...don't focus on the name, just what it looks like. Both on and off topic, I think if people believe it is demeaning to knock, tap or whatever on a door, they really should look at their life choices.

Question about canceling a cruise for which I've not yet paid a deposit
in Royal Caribbean International

Yes old policy was $100 fee plus rest of deposit transitioned into an FCC. Now with CWC they have waived that fee. So you will either get a $400 or a 500 FCC that can be applied to a future sailing. You are just waiting on the FCC to populate and it can be applied to any cruise within the expiration time frame, which could be a March cruise.
