    Correct. Royal will have pending amounts on your credit card, but they just drop off eventually, they don’t actually get posted(unless you actually had a charge).

    We have sailed to Puerto Vallarta a few times on the Navigator. It is a great cruise ship and I am sure that you will enjoy it. There is plenty of fresh cut fruit(including pineapple) at the Windjammer for every meal.

    Just a thought, maybe plan on proposing at one of the specialty restaurants onboard. I am sure that they would make it special for you.

    I do sometimes and sometimes not. I just always go into my cruise to see if the OBC has been applied.

    The shows are outstanding on the Symphony. I vote for Symphony, there are tons of different things for everyone to do. The Independence is fine, but the Symphony is another level.

    I don’t have any horror stories with the laundry service. I appreciate it and have used it many times. I do have a horror story with Celebrity though. All of our laundry was mixed with a few others and brought into our room, dumped on our bed and we had to sort through and take out our things. It really was weird. I almost missed a pair of my underwear, but my DH recognized it!

    One for each of you. Just keep in mind everything is washed in hot water. We only send socks, workout clothing and underwear out.

    Maybe. We have asked on our last 5 cruises and the answer was always “no”.

    We have always booked it that way, right when we board. I have never just booked it and told them later.

    I feel very lucky now because I booked Izumi hibachi for lunch about six months ago, for our upcoming transatlantic on the Oasis. It seems like it’s becoming harder and harder to get earlier bookings.

    All of the TA’s that I have been on leaving from Europe come back to the states in October/November.

    Agree with @firefly333 cruise docs are available 30 days before your cruise.

    It isn’t as old as Rhapsody, Grandeur, Enchantment and Vision. I would think if they were going to be retiring any they would do these older ones first. I honestly like the Adventure.

    I was just on it for B2B2B Jan/Feb. We enjoyed it.

    We were on both the Rhapsody & Grandeur last year. They are very similar. We also booked AFT balconies on both the Rhapsody was fine, but the Grandeur had awful sulfur smells most of the time. We were on the Grandeur for 3 weeks and the smell was terrible. Rhapsody was fine for our TA.

    I just renewed my Global Entry last week and received my new expiration date in less than 24 hours.
